In the all-time box office ranking of films in Japan, "Spirited Away" is No. 2 and "Frozen" is No. 4. What a luxurious place Ginzan Onsen is.

The site was gorgeous with all the snow.I loved the 800 year old wood. One you've seen alot of movies. Two your skinny but loves to eat. Three you tease us by not sharing your face. I hope you see this is just playing. Did you get a sovereign ? I was happy to see you had a video out ,I was worried about you , knowing there was an earthquake. I live in America and learning from you all about your home and tradition, so I don't see anything wrong, about your home the very Opposite, it's beautiful. Ah, beautiful! I live in New Hampshire USA, so we are familiar with snow and how it changes the landscape. It's always beautiful when it first falls. I could tell the type of snow that was falling-the big fluffy flakes that give a lot of accumulation but not heavy. It's the little flakes that mean business! And if they are frozen pellets, watch out! Slippery times ahead! The hot spring bath was amazingly spacious and must have been wonderful. And, of course, the food. I'd love to try it, but it occurs to me I would not know how to eat a lot if it! I would have to watch others and copy. Thank you for another soothing, wonderful experience. ❤

oh my goodness! such a wonderful area! it was more pretty than where I live when it snows! I love how the village feels like a studio ghibli movie! Now I wanna watch Spirited Away, and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind again! All the food looked super yummy and warm in snowy days! Lately I have been watching Laid Back Camp ( Yuru Camp ) and the food reminded me of that anime, eating hot soups on cold days! What a beautiful place!! I enjoyed your tour about the village and the food looks yum! The history as a silver mine is fascinating too. I come from a state in the US that had mining but mostly copper. As you slept on the floor, you asked about anybody else used to doing that. Oh yes, my brother and q did a lot of sleeping bags on the floor and I loved it. I also like snow and I live in the north, so your beautiful village looks very inviting. Thank you for taking us along! Wonderful video!

I watched this video because of Studio Ghilbi, not going there though since snow is not as comfortable as it looks lol! But I still found another place to put in my bucket list. I know Japan has some of the most well-preserved ancient structures but I didn't know that gigantic Buddhas like the one at 2:18 actually exists! I got curious so I searched more and saw that that's not even the tallest in Japan but Ushiku Daibutsu. These might be considered as modern structures as they were completed after the 90's but still really fascinating. I'm soo excited to go to Japan, so many sights to see! Also, really love the quality of this channel's videos.

I would love to stay here one day. You need to book out THE onsens, the picture esque ones on the mainstreet, like a year out? And I couldn't find any day use locations. Plus it's pretty difficult to get to (I'll be going to Sendai and looked to see if I could do it as a day trip, but it's 3+ hours by bus). And they're pretty pricey even outside the winter. So one day when I feel like I can safely drive a car in the Japanese winter and can book at least a couple of nights at one of those premier onsens without feeling financial regret :') But I'll still be going to Hakone, Nikko, and Kawaguchiko :)
