It's so difficult... one moment I'll be patiently listening to the silent voice within me. And then I will succumb to depression and sorrow in the next moment, and it's like that voice never existed at all. But how wonderful it is that we can always come back here, even after such difficult moments. And how exciting it will be to hear that voice even in such moments of despair, then we will be boundless!

Thank you. "There was a mystery in the universe I didn't understand." The spiritual practice I'm taking, which I can recommend, also has this. It is called _Steps to Knowledge, the book of inner knowing_ - it is wonderful to have a guided practice.

Perfect timing, as you'd know❤ I definitely needed this. I get it but damn, it's difficult. I thought today I wanted to just "shut it all down and off!" I can't take the way things are in the world with all the suffering even tho I know "it's all the way it's supposed to be" I guess I need to play this routinely. Feeling empathetic is automatic...oh boy, but it is hell as he says

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I'd recommend one of Jack Kornfield's books. He's almost like Ram Dass' successor, and I find his books are a bit more digestible than Be Here Now. Wishing you all the love and peace in the world as you navigate the trials ahead.
