So we all know that Sam has an autistic ADHD diagnosis, and from that there is absolutely an element of “acting out” and “trying to impress” but it just doesn’t come across well at all with a guest, the personality differences and the subject matter , such a shame because this could have been fab - I utterly adore these boys I have to just caveat with that ❤

This episode honestly made me laugh out loud multiple times, but it was also painful to listen to. I'm very much on Pete's side on this. Basically good psychological principles behind this manifesting thing, but for some reason wrapped into all this pseudoscientific crap. Roxy herself seems quite down-to-earth and reasonable for most parts (let's not go into this astrology stuff), but I'd never buy the book anyways 🤣 And then Sam... just too much for me this time. Him being totally oblivious can be hilarious at times, like the kitchen roll story, but he could seriously work on his hosting skills. It doesn't bother me when it's just him and Pete, but whenever there's a guest he just goes to another level and doesn't really seem to listen to anything at all. Or maybe he hears the words but never stops to process them before he goes on an unrelated tangent. I'm sure parts of it can be caused by his neurodivergence, but he'd do well to manifest becoming a professional podcast host, defining what it means in practice, and working towards it. I believe he has what it takes to be funny and spontaneous but just in a slightly more controlled manner. Adjusting the vibes he's sending out to the world to draw the bigger audience he wants to one day win the listener's award 😆

They started their podcast in a literal closet with no professional equipment or being known from anything, and have somehow managed to become and stay relevant, so it would be interesting to hear more about them. Your episode with Roman Kemp was one of my favourites, and the RedHanded is clearly another one of Sam's nemesi for no good reason so it could be good 😃
