I bought the STB-1 just a couple of days before. I really enjoy it and have fun playing with it. DPM is crazy and hull down it's a beast! I feel comfortable holding whole flanks if i have a good position. The gun, although sometimes derpy, it works great most of the time.

I don't own an STB-1 but I've fought them plenty, and my impression is it's a very good tank that's extremely unforgiving. You can outplay pretty much anything in it, but if you make even a single mistake you should expect to lose more than half your hitpoints.

My opinion about stb? It's my favorite tank in the game (funny fact, my 2nd favorite med is UDES, I would be very happy to see a new skill's video on UDES !) STB has all for him: Best DPM in the game for a turetted tank (behind K-91), amazing gun stabilization, mobility, 14 gun depression and turret armor that works... sometimes 🤓

I love this tank, but you can't just rely on the armor to keep you alive. Don't get me wrong, the hull and turret can pull off bounces but I wouldn't rely on it. But this tank shines with it's dpm - smack em twice for every time they fire

funny thing is way earlier in this line is the tier 3 or 4 Chi He that has 15 DEGREES of gun depression, and that's without special suspension. Chi He can actually lay the end of its barrel on its own tracks. Awesome ridge line tank.

Excellent game play Skill! Bravo! you always make it look so easy. But with 120k games, I can see why. I'm just barely above 5k, I don't play everyday, just a casual player, I don't have the STB-1, but may eventually. My favorite vehicle to play in my SU130PM, sniper schnitzel, I got in the Holiday boxes by some strange luck of the draw. I mostly play with tier 6-7 med. and lights. always learning new tactic from your videos, and very grateful you share them with the community.

I like this tank. Why so? You can make a hardcore pressure on other tanks without asking their names, like the E50 on Erlenberg. Also you can relocate fast to create other angle.

In your last battle....SPG is able to hit that corner with the Foch B..If you park your SPG in G0, you can hit E6 and J2-3

STB-1 is one of my favorite tank at the moment, however is Asia server you get bang by HE all day everyday. So we wanna play safe, but then teammate just die too quickly or enemies die too quick so performing well, it will depends.

Imo STB and UDES are very different tanks, its like comparing apples vs oranges. One is high alpha, reliable hull down tank other is low alpha dpm machine with turret which can bounce sometimes unless we are playing vs low tiers.

Skeiiil I think that swedish line is better for me because they have alpha damage and they can reposition and don't haveto keep firing unlike stb-1 which have to keep exposing itself for dpm

I love it and I am not a really good player by 56,5% winrate. The problem is that when you get hitted crew is die so easily and if you want to perform (as really good players are doing) you need to shoot premium shells. But DPM and gun depression are really good..

stb is pretty great in pubs. Better players know that gold ammunition will go straight through the turret, and also that the cupola is huge. And yes, heat goes straight through the mantlet.

Also skill, what you think about Aiming device on stb? I love stb-1. It's more nippy than the UDES 15/16 (power/weight ratio), and that DPM is so good. With bonds equipment my STB-1 has 160 less dpm than my STRV-103B lmao. I love UDES too, but I don't have bonds equipment on it. It's a bit more sluggish, but that matters less because you have to peek and aim less because of the bigger alpha. I like both a lot. But yeah. Play against smart people in your STB-1 and you're getting penned with gold. That kinda sucks.

Skiiiilll i really hope with all my heart that UDES Tier10 is good and extremly better that Tier9!!!! up to now UDES tier 8 and 9 are for sure in my list of the worst medium in the game.... STB is a great tank i really love it, my only problem is that when i need to use Gold i just do not pen any more perhaps 2 or 3 in 10 at best. Is like 330 penetration is in reality 230... at least it is what happens to me over and over.

Skill... Awesome, as always. :) Do you find that you play differently when you are working on your marks vs playing for 'fun' (or us)? I like the STB, but it is tricky, because you have to go to the ridge slowly to let the Hydro-Pneumatic suspension work and give you the extra gun depression. It's similar to the UDES, which I also like. :)

You can say what you want but turret armour of this tank is just too strong same with upper plate while sitting hull down. On good maps stb's with full gold load can just bang heavies without getting damaged. To make it clear i don't use premium ammo thats why playing against stb is so problematic for me especially with HT with shitty gun handling :)
