That tank got another shot few milliseconds before and probably got some module damage. Try to play crew and synchronize shots into ammo racks - you'll see plenty of crits.

@@Dkrasota well, I experienced that in my t44 cause getting hit by big guns into right side of hull usually guarantee getting racked, when it comes to smaller gun then maybe only damaged recently hit a 260 (centrally under turret) with my big boom e100, dude exploded instantly
