You're right. Hopefully they will be successful, although Ste probably won't believe the results of the DNA test anyway. He'll think they've manipulated the results some way to prove their point. At this stage, Ste doesn't believe anything any of them say - only Stuart and Jonny. I HATE THIS STORY LINE!!!

Anyone with a smart phone, could have done that. It could even have been freeze frame of CCTV footage. Because Ste has become quite a name with first the accusations against Misbah (where he ironically was 100% correct - Misbah is guilty of Tegan`s death. Having placed Tegan recklessly in danger by performing such a delicate surgical procedure with an injured arm - making Tegan`s death manslaughter, and not accidental, since Tegan died as a result of a cut too deep and in the wrong place - causing an internal bleed - and not from injuries sustained from the tree that fell on top of her.), than the quarrel with Sally about the school, as well as the disturbance in Price Slice, Ste would have been natural for a journalist to focus the story around. Especially since it was him, and him alone, who had invited to the illegal protest which quickly developed into a small riot. For the same reason it is unlikely to have been either Johnny or Stuart who organized for Ste to be on the front page like that. Their plans probably would have required less ties between them and Ste - and also to have worked best if no one suspected the group of being violent, as probably was what they tried to achieve with the first event, which got cancelled because of Ste`s behavior in the shop. With Ste to be linked so firmly to Stuart as he has been, with Stuart having been both his employer and landlord during the time Ste started to become both violent and hateful towards muslims in general, it probably would have meant what ever they had planned to recruit Ste for, would had to have been cancelled, since because the ties between Ste and Johnny and Stuart have been so strong, and because Ste`s violent behavior and hateful rhetoric mainly has emerged after he started first working for Stuart, and later having Stuart as a landlord. To have Ste back in the group now, would therefore not have been a good idea for Stuart, since whatever plans he and Johnny had for Ste likely would have backfired against Stuart and Johnny themselves, because Ste would not have been seen as an independent terrorist/thug, but one which they controlled and almost owned. Therefore Ste couldn`t be used as a scapegoat, and Stuart would have been wise if he found himself some other scapegoat, which could be groomed, but totally without ties to Stuart himself, or anyone close to the group. To avoid unwanted attention from police and security services alike, he likely would have been wise to pay Ste to blame his actions on uncontrollable rage, as an after effect of the loss of his sister. With Ste taking all the blame, and explaining it to be a result of grief, neither the police nor the security services would have justification (or the available resources) to continue to investigate, Stuart, Johnny and their group. Taking Ste back in the fold, as it appear they intend to now, doesn`t really make sense, since whatever they could be planning to get Ste involved in, or to do, would backfire against themselves because they already have been tied so closely to Ste as they have - that anything he does, they will be suspected of of having ordered.

Seriously even after seeing through all of his sinful behaviour. He still prefers Johnny and Stewart over his own family. I could say he "forgot" about what his family did to him but he *knew* it was Peri, Leah, Tony and Diane who helped him go through difficult situations such a s bad relationship,addiction and looking after his kids with love and peace. They even put a roof over his head the day he got kicked out and lived poor an homeless in the streets. Ste knows his family helped him he is just in denial properly because he still thinks Johnny is his brother and Stewart is more inspiring than the family. I didn't think the Writers would make Kieron character as Ste be this dumb! N

This was my biggest fear and problem with this storyline when I heard Ste would be turned into a fascist. He is the golden boy of Hollyoaks and what ever he does his stans and show will make excuses and eventually forgive him. And I think there are some things that maybe should not be forgiven and forgotten, but as I said Ste is the golden boy and can not do anything wrong. He is actually a lot like Aaron from Emmerdale. Both can do horrible and violent things to people around them, but viewers are supposed to feel sorry them, not for their victims. It's like weird misery porn. I think Hollyoaks should have chosen some other character for their fascism storyline.

Ste has really and truly lost the plot, what was that rant about how he grew up about, what does that have to do with his hatred towards muslims???? And I hate how he's using Teagan to justify his vial actions, honestly if he wants to be angry about her death he should be angry at himself cause he was right there when she died, he could have saved her. But he pushed Harry out of the way and didn't even think about his sister, maybe it's easier to hate and blame the Malek's instedt of dealing with the fact that he wasn't there for Teagan and had yet another failed relationship.
