@@ChelseyLinden To be honest, Doug will always be my favourite love interest of Ste's. They're the couple that actually got me watching Hollyoaks in the first place: Doug treated Ste the best, and Ste was the best version of himself when they were together. But obviously there's no chance of getting them back, so it doesn't really matter anymore! I also have a soft spot for McHay; not necessarily in a romantic sense, but because of their history with each other. If I had to choose the 'love of Ste's life', it would probably be John Paul, for that reason. I do think Ste and James have chemistry, but their history is way too ugly for a relationship to make sense. And I can't imagine them being 'in love' with each other, at least not any time soon! Actually, I would have preferred for Ste to get together with Scott: they've been friends for ages, and would make more sense as a couple (and would be a very different dynamic from their previous relationships). But I guess we get what we're given, don't we? X

@@megansmith1993 imo, brendan is the true love of ste's life. i legit ship every one of ste's relationships besides starry, and even though stendan will always be my favourite, i can't deny doug was the best person for him. he loved ste so much and everything he did, he did for ste. sadly they made the grave mistake of killing him off, but luckily for me there's still a chance of there being some kind of stendan reunion in the future.
