I agree. To make James be so stupid doesn´t make sense even if he is a bit messed up. Maybe he thinks that he is not capable to be with someone and at the same time be a proper father. But it´s clear that he needs help. Why throw the trainers in the bin?? He needs Harry and Harry need him but the writers must have something else in mind. They both seem to love each other so they should get back to each other. Or, maybe James start to doubt on Harry and think he´s too young for him to be his partner. He had another type of relationship with Kyle that he loved that seemed different and he always referred to Harry as a spoiled child. Maybe he wants to meet someone like Kyle or John Paul again? They seemed to be more on the same intellectual level and I can´t see that Harry would love to watch opera with James but I prefer to see Harry step up and act more mature...well, we´ll see what will happen. Maybe after being away from each other James will miss Harry and ask him to move in again.

Jp betrayed james with guess who the sainted ste. Harry accepts james the way he is, is very smart and frankly knows what's it like and has way more experience being a parent than james does and was willing to be a co parent with james regarding romeo. He was ready to step up.

@@tracymorgan5386 I meant on an intellectual level when it comes to Kyle and JP but they both betrayed him yes, and I have always wondered why James fell in love with Harry from the start. Was it lust or real love? But I do agree James and Harry could work as a couple but I just wonder why the writers do as they do. I think the agegap is interesting. Kyle came back and wanted a second chance and Kyle explained later why he did what he did to James and for one second I thought that James may want to give Kyle a second chance but I don´t think that will happen. James deserved those months in prison because of all the bad things he has done in the past but Sami should have told the police the truth about his father instead of framing James for murder and use Kyle for that purpose. Kyle didn´t want to get along with it in the end but things were complicated and Kyle crossed the line.

My God, Harry just cannot catch even a sliver of a break, can he? He made mistakes, yes, but so has every single person in that supremely fucked village. I'm happy that James is trying to mend things with Romeo, I really am, he deserves it, but the fact that Harry is suffering again just makes me so upset. I am quite surprised comments here did not analyse this episode properly. Quite disappointed that comments here are mostly about james ste harry. No one seemed to read between the lines or did not bother to do so. This episode shows how family relationships can make or break if people take or do not take the effort to listen, to see and make efforts to make it wholesome. Sometimes we are ignorant or choose to ignore problems in our family until something bad happens. Misbah was still feeling the nerves when she had to pick up Imran alone. But she did it anyway because she loved her son. Alfie reminding James about how he had ruined their sibling relationship when James refused to do anything about Romeo. Sami hit the nail on the wall when he said to his nemesis James not to treat romeo like how Mac had treated him. That was the turning point for James because he never wanted to be associated with monster Mac in that manner. Harry had loved Ste alright. But to love Ste meant carrying his responsibilities too. Harry didn't want that anymore. So you see, this episode is not about jarry or starry. It is about responsibilities as a family. Supporting, caring and giving love to our family when they need us the most. Happiness will come naturally when you do it with an open heart. By the way I have to admit that Harry's gorgeous blue eyes put a smile on my face.

Harry has made mistakes. Having an affair with Ste when he was with Sinead. Harry had been put under the spotlight when he was blamed for beating up Ste outside a bar. Harry tried to help Ste when he was engaging in a custody battle with Amy and Ryan. Harry did his best to keep Ste out of trouble and taking blame for Amy death when Ste was questioned. That wasn’t a mistake that was a choice. Harry went down a really dark path by selling himself to random men on the streets and then doing it to help himself and Ste financially. Now he had an affair with James Nightingale, who now is Ste’s husband, which was unexpected and weird when James purposed to Ste.
