Ste fans act like he's a saint when he's not he has done some pretty crappy things in his past and let's not forget about Brendan, don't get me wrong I loved Brendan but he did some horrible things, and Ste being all judgemental about Harry lying, how many times has he lied. Ste needs to get off his dang high horse, and let's not forget that Harry started pimping because Ste couldn't support his kids cause he was too freaking irresponsible. James loves him unconditionally faults and all.

i loved starry i really did,anyone that goes back to the beginning on this channel will see my comments championing them,but i truly believe jarry is the right direction for harry in this moment in time and actually for ste too.i do not think jarry is endgame,the show as spent too much time and storyline on starry to just drop it,they are pretty much been the longest running gay relationship in the show for a very long time now,but i do think harry need to find out who he is outside ste,he need to be in a relationship where he doesn't carry a lot of emotional weight,because for the duration of their relationship harry as been the caretaker, he literally got out of jail and the first time he saw ste he was pulling drugs out of his hand,he is the one that helped him put his life together after ryan,he is the one that went back to talk to the principle so ste could get the contract,he is the one that always run interference anytime amy refused ste cant be with the kids,he as always been the adult in this relationship and its not fair because in many ways harry is still very young, and he need to experience a relationship that less life and death,he needs to know what it feels like to be taken care of, he need to figure out what he want to do career-wise ,whatever happened to his football?,what about school?,does he want to go back,college?,somewhere a long the way harry dreams and ambitions disappeared and got replaced with just taking care of ste and the kids.ok i felt like that needed saying.

The thing Ste is doing isn't going to work out. In stead of wondering Why Harry wants to be with James and feels he can talk to James, and trying to fix that missing part in their own relationship. Ste's trying to control him, telling him what to do. It's like Ste's not listening and putting the blame actively on outside factors instead of looking inwards.

exactly,like he knows there relationship is in trouble and this is how he goes about trying to fix it?.when they got back together after ryan and they were not in a good place harry organised a camping trip,for them to go away as a family ,spend time together and bond, when they were drifting a apart and ste was taking harry for granted the weeks leading to ste cheating with jp ,harry tried to organize a night out for just the two of them, thats what you do, ste is a chef would a romantic night kill him to organize, try and remind harry of what they have,maybe organize a weekend away.

S Jaco It's not unreasonable that Ste doesn't want Harry to be involved with James - not after everything that James has done to him - paying Harry 10,000 pounds for sex and then rubbing Ste's nose in it, setting Ste up for Amy's murder and keeping him in prison when he found out the truth, being jealous of his closeness to John Paul, etc. Ste's reaction seems perfectly natural to me. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if James is rather in love with Ste, not Harry. He was taken with him when he first arrived in the village, and we all know how twisted his relationships can be. James may think of Harry as almost a younger brother that he meeds to look after and protect, not as a potential lover, almost a replacement for Nathan or Alfie.

Oh no, I get Ste's reaction. I understand why he's not Team James, but instead of figuring out why his boyfriend soon to be husband can't seem to stay away from him, he's trying to control him. And that is the problem. Ste isn't looking at their relationship at all, and he's not really seeing Harry. We could argue that Ste is bad at relationships, but we know that is not the case, but his relationship with Harry hasn't been good from the start and it's beginning to show massively, because they kept on breaking up and even when they got back together they never resolved the reasons as to why they broke up in the first place.

I agree with you about their relationship; it's been a mess from the beginning. It started out bad, with Ste cheating on John Paul, and then went progressively downhill from there. The writers need to bring in new men for both of them - a student type for Harry, one more his own age, and an older, Brendan type for Ste, perhaps, as I said before, James.

Ste would benefit from having someone like brendan, I feel like Ste has been dating men that he can push over, and what he really needs is someone that can push back. Not fysically obviously. But someone that is his equal. As much as Harry tries to help Ste fix his mess, Harry is too young to have to do this, he's been Ste's caretaker since he was 17. Ste needs someone that is older to be with or his own age. Harry could work with James, because it would give him the chance to retake his own life, James doesn't need a caretaker. But I wouldn't mind Harry with someone his own age that reminds Harry that he's 20 and should live his life before it's over.

Well guys, at long last the truth came out. Now it is time to forgive and forget and give them another chance to be happy and together again. It might take sometime but it is well worth doing it. I like Harry with Ste. They mean and belong together, so be it then.

Ste is a hypocrite he doesn't have any right to judge anyone, with all the crappy things he has done in the past, trying to control Harry wanting Harry to change for him, unlike James who loves Harry unconditionally.
