So true. Ste was genuinely in love/lust with Amy for years, and slept with her and other girls willingly well beyond his teen years (not just one-time experimentation). He enjoys intimacy with women, we've seen it. Why the show glosses over and 'forgets' that Ste is bi except on rare occasion when it's convenient is beyond me. It does a disservice to the original character, a lowkey charming rascal bi man, to disingenuously rewrite him as high-camp Kinsey 6 and who is totally repulsed by females sexually (presumably just to make work and life a bit easier for the gay actor).

Being bi is more than being 50/50, there’s romantic attraction vs sexual attraction, I’ve known gay guys to fall in love with women and come out as bi-romantic later on as a result. Ste being this high camp gay guy isn’t Ste, he was a bi guy who had a preference for men but wasn’t against sleeping with a woman, he spent most of his teen years with Amy as well.
