If I were Tony or Ste, I wouldn't feel too bad about Harry even after finding out the truth. Amy was still badly hurt and knocked unconscious by Harry, and he just left her there, and then let Ste take the rap for it. Harry's only vindicated by a technicality. Still doesn't make him a saint in all this.

superxx57 Your right. I remember when Harry was oh so innocent. I still cant wait for Ryan to finally go to prison but where would this leave the kids? They wouldn't have any parents so they would have to stay with ste... As for Harry, i doubt he would ever forgive himself and that ste would forgive him. Maybe Ste will move on, which sucks cause im a HUGE Starry fan, but i dont see them bouncing back from this.

"Missed me?!" Not exactly the question and behavior I had expected from someone having been deliberately set up by the person they addressed, and having been away from him for so many months too. Much more intriguing, in my opinion, if Ste had gotten that question. He served in the same prison as Kyle. And with Kyle, Ryan and Harry as potential boyfriends for Ste, that storyline - and Ste`s choice - would have become a lot more intriguing and interesting, than the endless on and off thing with Starry.

i think ryan will kill kyle. writers said he is going to try to shut kyle up. so i don't think he will be around long for anything to develop between ste harry or ryan.

Daniel Nicks Sounds like something Hollyoaks would do. I hope not though, cause the Kyle we met in that first lunch with Nancy and Darren was a great character addition - not to mention one of the funniest Hollyoaks scenes of the entire year, so far. Like when Darren aske Kyle about his wife, and he told him she was too good to be true. It is Kyle`s obsession with Ryan I don`t quite believe in. Kyle being openly gay, the obsession would have been far more likely the other way around, and Kyle wanting to shake off a clingy one night stand. Ryan I also would have had preferred if would not be written out - and made out to be a little more believable (I`ve detailed how and why more specific in a reply to Chelsea Linden elsewhere on this page). Generally speaking though, Hollyoaks tend to turn turn their storylines and characters so extreme they lose credibility and authenticity. Just look at Warren kidnapping the heavily pregnant Sienna, or Milo causing harm to the people his guilt have driven him to want to protect, now that he has set up Holly to believe Dirk has the sex tape Nick made of her and himself. It is too way over the top to be believable, and instead of engaging me, I cant wait for the silly nonsense to be over. The only reason I watch Hollyoaks now is the vain hope it will start develop more in the direction I would find interesting. Had it not been for the occasional one liner and funny situation, it would have been a drag. That is why I need charming, funny, clever and confident Kyle back. And why I feel turning Ryan so extreme as he has been depicted, has been a huge mistake, undermining the important issue of suppressed homosexuality and identity denial, by twisting and spinning it too much, instead of shedding light on the subject. But all of that I have addressed in my reply to Chelsea Linden too, so I wont waste space repeating myself.

Ryan probably hasn`t missed Kyle, but I have. Fingers crossed he will be back to his funny charming self, as his first lunch with Nancy and Darren - and isn`t going to become Ryan`s next murder victim. I like Ryan so much better when he is a goody. He and Ste parenting Leah and Lucas together, how long until Ste will notice some gay vibes from Ryan? Or Leah and Lucas plotting to match them? Could be interesting. But poor Tegan.

Chelsey Linden I have never bought the idea of Ryan killing Amy, not even the fact she got up again after she had hit her head the first time. So to me the whole thing involving Harry and Ryan in Amy`s death is totally BS - all the time Ste initially was arrested and prosecuted for having killed Amy. Not only would the second scenario have had a different time of death than if Ryan had killed her later that night - a time Ste would have an alibi for, either cause his phone would have placed him in the woods calling his dealer, or because he was with Tony and Dianne. But if Amy had got up again after the first head injury, which left her unconscious, that injury would have revealed itself different to those sustained when Ryan killed her, but yet would have been possible to identify as a fairly fresh injury - the obvious conclusion being that injury was caused when she was confronted by Ste. But since it didn`t kill her, Ste couldn`t be prosecuted for her death. And the investigation would have continued, cause the police would have been looking for the one that visited Amy after the first injury, and caused her death. So all the time Ste was prosecuted for Amy`s death, that would have placed her time of death to an earlier time of night, and ruled out both Harry and Ryan as suspects, cause if Ste could be prosecuted for having killed Amy, Amy`s time of death had to concur with the time her head injury was sustained. Ergo Amy would have had to die immediately, she couldn`t have gotten up again afterwards, and it would have been impossible for both Harry and Ryan to talk to her, cause she would have been dead by the time they arrived. The only other opportunity for Ste to have been prosecuted for having killed Amy, would be if Amy didn`t die immediately, but sustained a bleeding inside her brain in the confrontation with Ste, which eventually - when the brain was filled up with blood - put so much pressure on Amy`s brain, she went into shock and died. But again, this delayed reaction would have ruled out both Harry and Ryan as suspects, cause all the blood inside Amy`s brain - based on the size of the tear causing the bleed and normal heartbeat frequency - would have made it possible to calculate how long time had passed between the tear causing the bleed and her time of death. So all the time Ste was prosecuted for Amy`s death, the post mortem findings dictating that to be a possible scenario, would have excluded both Harry and Ryan as suspects. Sometimes Hollyoaks is so amateurishly stupid it is almost painful to watch. I mean, Warren kidnapping the heavily pregnant mother of his unborn children and locking her inside a house in the woods by herself, what kind of ridiculous nonsense is that? This current Milo storyline isn`t any better. He is supposed to want to help the Cunninghams out of guilt after having killed their parents - but set up Holly to discover her own sex tape on Dirk`s laptop, potentially extending her recovery after the ordeal caused by Nick months or years, and also causing great harm and distress to both Cindy, Tom and everyone else in the family or who know Dirk - not to mention to how unjust and unfair it his to Dirk himself. How is that protecting them? Milo is the one they need protection from. To do something like that he either has to be a psychopath, not realizing how his actions hurts the very people he intends to protect, or he is seriously mentally ill - or option 3, obsessed by Cindy, and want her for himself. Either way he is so out there as a character, I think he is totally ruined. Just like Hollyoaks ruined Cameron, Lindsey, Ryan, Nico, Nick and the list goes on and on. By adding so many twisted actions and character flaws to them, viewers are turned against them, and they have to be exited. Personally I am sad to see Ryan go. Duncan James has been a great addition to the Hollyoaks cast, but unfortunately his character has only been partly believable. But that is not his fault, but the storyliners. So if anyone should go... Ryan Knight could have been a great opportunity for a character study of a gay man, who because someone close to him when he grew up was extremely homophobic (and most likely more than a little gay himself - and used homophobic behavior as a sort of camouflage), Ryan didn`t see being gay as an option and therefore suppressed those feelings, and tried to live straight, as long as he could. And when that didn`t work anymore, developed a self hate every time he gave in for his longings, and had sex with a man. That would explain why he hit Kyle, why he was so focused on getting him away - even why he was so dismissive of Ste (in addition to his first encounter with Ste being Ste physically attacked him) and intent on Amy getting sole custody of the kids, so he wouldn`t have to face Ste anymore. Why? Two possible reasons. Ste being gay he is the most likely to see through Ryan. But the most likely explanation, Ryan finds Ste attractive and tried to suppress that fact with anger, pretending to himself and the world he couldn`t stand him, plus - if Ste was around - Ryan was afraid either Amy or the kids should notice his interest in Ste in that respect. It also has to be said Ste`s extreme focus around Ryan suggest some of the same. Ste was attracted to him, but because Ryan was with Amy, he was a no go area, causing Ste so much frustration he pretended to hate him to cope. Also the fact Ste drifted apart from Harry, had a one night stand with JP, suggest there was someone other than Harry on his mind, he needed to get out f his system - and resorted to JP as a fix. If it hadn`t bee for the ridiculously illogical idea of making Ryan Amy`s killer, I think the two of them could have been very happy together - not to mention how happy Leah and Lucas would have been. To me the only logical solution to Amy`s death is Armstrong, and that is why he was so keen to frame Ste for her death, and why he knew the partial footprint found in Amy`s blood to be from the same type of shoes as a shoe box he found when searching Ste`s home after Ste`s arrest. But that is a logical solution rooted in realism - and Hollyoaks are not very good when it comes to those. As the storyline you here informed me they have planned is a great indication of. Why would James tell Tegan Ryan killed Amy? It makes no sense! Since by doing so he would place both his career and freedom in jeopardy, since a further investigation into Amy`s death - and at least what James could tell the police about what James had done - could reveal all James had done in relation to that case (framed Ste, manipulated evidence and more). What on earth would make him do that? (Apart from Hollyoaks storyliners!) Not to mention, by having the case unsolved, he would have the professional crown of having had found Ste not guilty by possibly having had the real killer, Armstrong, exposed in court. Should Ryan be found to be guilty instead, James would appear a total amateur, just fortunate enough to be defending an innocent man. Honestly, when I thought Hollyaosk couldn`t get more ridiculous - after first Warren kidnapping Sienna, and the new twists in the Milo storyline - they come up with this, just marginally better than the brainless idea of having James pay Harry £10 000 for a night of sex - only to blackmail Harry about it afterwards. Despite James being the lawyer with both his professional reputation, not to mention his licence to practice law, at stake - Harry was after all the son of his client, Tony, at the time - and with the added possibility of some jail time for extortion, Hollyoaks yet managed to have James not only extort Harry, but succeed with it. I don`t know where Hollyoaks recruit there storyliners from - but it is definitely not from Mensa!
