Love the song! Such an encouragement. Great drumming too. Really tasteful and the drums are tuned so nicely.

So at church they sang a song I had never heard "We will feast" I think to myself. Nice song, great lyrics wonderful tune. Whose song is this? Which lead me to this page. Great song writer.

Love your heart for worship! Question: What kind of mic does Leslie have on the outside of that guitar?
@dashenfelder7 жыл бұрын

It’s our absence of holiness they r talking about. God never is or was not Holy.

I don't listen to lot of contemporary music anymore, I've noticed a lot of God's word is misquoted, and some want even stand up for what's right because they might lose listeners and money..

You're singing is absolutely, without a doubt, Beautiful!! But, I'm sorry you're saying about something that doesn't exist!! Again, I love your voices!! But, your ideas are wrong!! ❤️

One problem here is with a particular lyric which is false doctrine. In regards to the crucifixion, right after saying "in the presence of death Your light was affirmed." The next verse says."In the absence of holiness you are still God." Sorry but there was never one moment in time when Christ, the God man, was never Holy. Therefore He was never absent of holiness."
@eliholland71786 жыл бұрын
Hm. regarding "absence of holiness", I don't think she was saying that Jesus was ever unholy. I took it as the unholy treatment of Jesus by the ones who tortured him and nailed him to the cross

Maybe you should create something in life instead of looking to criticize others?
@naomisnider88415 жыл бұрын
@@SamuelGriffin Not sure he means to criticize; I understand what he is saying. However, with the very statement "You are still God", she is acknowledging the holiness of Yeshua, since God IS holy. So perhaps Eli Holland is correct. May we listen to this incredible music together in peace!

Interesting, I was just about to comment on this lyric as I don't understand what it means either! It seems to be 'life' rather than 'light' though - 'in the presence of death your LIFE was affirmed'. As for the next line, I honestly don't know what it means, tho a few folk in the comments here try to explain it.
