Steadfast in Doctrine, Steadfast in Love - Rev. Hans Fiene

Pr. Hans Fiene preaches stern law and sweet gospel to the hearers - how we fail in our steadfastness in doctrine and in love, but how Christ never fails in doctrine or love, but is really in the end, the Steadfast One.

With love i say as a confessional Reformed believer to my Lutheran brothers and sisters we love and respect you for your conviction and faithfulness. We owe a great weight of eternal gratitude to Luther. Reformed folk need to always remember that Luther came before the Reformed. My prayer is despite our confessional difference of the past we are catholic Christians under one head who is Christ our Lord. We are one faith one Lord one baptism. Let us in unity preach the Gospel of Christ to a lost and dying world. Wonderful sermon

Indeed. This is one of the few sermons I keep and replay for myself 2-3 times a year. Fortunately Bryan Wolfmueller is my (real -life 😝) pastor, so I get to hear the real Law and Gospel several times a week!

ive noticed some non-Lutheran Protestant churches do not preach Law and Gospel, i got into a heated debate on another video with a non-Lutheran saying preaching the Law isnt right he used the excuse that Jesus fullfilled the Law yes its true that jesus did fullfill the law, but little did he know there is no Gospel without the Law

This is pure sound biblical teaching (doctrine) and because you desire to hear only want you want to hear, you are a living fulfillment of the above scripture I've provided. Those who remain steadfast to the word of God will continue to preach sound biblical doctrine until the final trumpet call of God heralding the second coming of our risen Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Stern Law and Gospel - I noticed the Law and Gospel for sure - but I believe stern is incorrect. Rather, a "God pleasing message of the Word of God" would be more appropriate. SOLI DEO GLORIA!!

I really appreciate calling out the LCMS churches the have gone the contemporary route. I do not understand why the LCMS allows so much latitude. Too many LINO(Lutheran In Name Only) churches near me. On a non communion Sunday the services are "seeker driven" community church oriented.Neither the Lord's Prayer nor creeds are recited at any worship service on any Sunday. Unfortunately I have had to return to Mass until I can find a church that is steadfast, traditional, liturgical and LCMS.
