STEADICAM AXIS VIDEOS SET UP (EP.228)

In this episode I talk through and show the set up for the Steadicam Axis videos I am producing for Tiffen. Lighting definitely got tweaked after this. Went down to 40% intensity on the key and it felt less "sourcey" for the actual videos. And other minor tweaks to camera & lighting.

Two questions. Have you looked into the Tamron 17-70mm for the fx30. I have it and really like it. Second, what is that little pouch on your belt? Brand name? I like it and I’d like to pick one up to hold my lavs when I’m running and gunning getting interviews.

I haven/t tries that lens yet. Is it still quite compact? I love the 18-50 as it's so small and the minimum focus distance is awesome. Here's the episoide I did on the pouch I use all the time. That's the plan. Right now the units are pre-production and not on the market yet. When they are I hope to get one in for more content. I am also producing the official introduction and getting started videos for the Steadicam Axis.
