Please check the unit of Q. Is this KJ? I think it should be KW, then unit of equation will be in KW. m= mass flow rate, therefore 1/2(m.C1^2) is KW. Similarly, we have to use Heat flow rate in place of Heat flow(Q).

Could you explain why the change in internal energy of the control volume ( the stored energy in the CV ) is zero?
