I'll take them woods alone anyday. With a water source near and lots of land fer hunting an planting. Them meals he cooks are better eating than some 5 star restaurant gives. Tastes better too. Y'all can't beat that smokey fire an wood flavor.

I loved that you used the wild garlic to help season the fish! I think that those are what we call "ramps" here in the U.S. If so, they are much coveted! Thank you for another great video.

Great basic tutorial on 'planking.' Having clean oak planks to cook on and having a hardwood fire certainly helps with the smoky flavors. I can see that having relatively thin pieces of meat with the wedge planking is a key part of 'how to.'
@billyaitken17134 жыл бұрын
Quality brother!! That plain stake looked awesome. Those skillet rosemary potatoes were restaurant quality. Might I suggest fabric plasters? They cling to awkward areas better than plastic ones & because they're more breathable they'll stick better when you sweat/ get wet.

I was really impressed with that Opinel folding knife when you used it to baton a slice for your wedge. I always thought they were only good as a picknicing knife for slicing apples etc. I never thought they were that tough. I've got to have one now. I'm also going to be cooking a salmon filet just like that with my backyard firepit. Great way to cook! It looked like it was cooked perfectly.
