✝️🎼🎶 A refreshing new spiritual song on the album of the same title. Enjoyed hearing this today. I have the CD and I need to play it more! The lyrics challenge me however. I may be entirely wrong in my comments. In my humble opinion, I think this is about seeing or maybe experiencing the eminent Second Coming of Christ. Believers are preparing, watching, and ready! Non-believers should listen. He will come "as a thief in the night ". (1 Thessalonians 5: 1-3). Homes may be divided. Now is the time to get serious. This is what I gathered from watching the video about 8 times. The images are very interesting as well! A little different also...altogether, a bit of a challenge today! A great new album, "Steal Me Away "!🦋 Thank you, NYC Young People!

Steal me away, I want to be well-pleasing to You. Through all my time with You, would You fill me through and through? You’re coming as a thief, my house will be broken into, so while I still have today, make me precious to You. 1 Lord, restore the years the locusts have eaten. You redeemed me from a life that is fleeting; A life of much activity, but no concern for Your deep need. May we find grace like Noah in Your eyes. 2 We can choose, will we be foolish or prudent Vessels filled when we go forth to meet Him? We’ll be with our Bridegroom sweet, and we’ll enjoy the wedding feast. May we grasp every opportunity. 3 When we rise, we must make time in the morning. Lord, You’ll hear, our voices singing and praising. Lord, grow in us day by day, make us stones, transform the clay; Constitute us the men of preciousness. 4 We must not forsake assembling together As we see the day draw nearer and nearer. Thus together we’ll possess, the vast dimensions of this Christ. May we be those who hasten Your return.

That's a beautiful hymn, but I'm trying to understand the reason for the title "Steal me away". In Spanish is "Róbame". The Bible says Jesus will come as a thief in the night, but He is not a thief. I need some explanation about the title. Grace and peace in Christ.

Good question - of course the Lord is not a thief, but He told us he is coming "as a thief" when we least expect Him. And a thief only takes "valuable " things, so if we want Him to "take us" we need to be valuable to Him. Several times in the gospels He mentions "buying" the oil (virgins in Matt. 25), investing our 'talents' (slaves in Matt. 25) to gain profit. These indicate our faithfulness in growing in the divine life and in our Christian service. In this way we become 'valuable' for His "stealing us away" before the great tribulation. This song was written by a college student after a conference on the Lord's second coming.

@@felitoantonio Your welcome - I hope it is more understandable now. This matter is not widely known among believers. But if understood, it will help us to grow in Christ and be prepared for His coming.
