I had this exact thing happen before on such an insane scale before, and I just barely survived by this tiny thread as I had to constantly bail for 5 minutes before I could attempt a repair. The best bet in these cases is to go for the smallest and closest stuff first, which will slow the process enough so that you can properly do a larger one. Once one of the larger ones are done, you now have a significant decrease in rising water levels, and so the bailing times are significantly less. Do one more large one thats close by, then bail down to zero and keep lasting down the volcano as you repair. Another good idea is to move in a constant circle because thatll cause more misses, and itll be good enough to constantly work out stuff and fight at the same time. Once the volcano is lasted out, I highly recommend leaving the devil's roar because wherever you go next, the volcanoes will erupt beside you, because for some reason the game loves to target specific people. Leaving the devil's roar just makes for a bit easier of a time until someone else gets volcanoed, then you wont be targeted as much as you wander about. I know this because I once stayed in the devil's roar and every volcano I was in the range of, always ended up erupting and striking the biggest rock it can fling towards me, right on my ship, perfect shot every time.
