there’s a handworking station at the museum in the city (second floor) that you can use to build her skill as well :) you’ll have to pay to make stuff but you could always sell them later

I dunno if you figured out by now that she can fish off one of the canoes anywhere the water is deep enough. Don't need a fishing spot. There's usually a canoe just sitting around the bay in Mua Pelam she can use. And can I just say THIRTY EIGHT HUNDRED SIMOLEANS for one voodoo doll?!! WOO!
