Just subscribed. I'm getting ebike next year similar to yours, it will have 3.5t motor also bac 8000 controller. Have you thought of using BAC8000 controller for your bike you might get more power and speed.

Hey, I have a question. Are you still using those solid Disc Rotors for this build or have you upgraded them since? I am asking because I was having disc warp issues due to poor heat dissipation with solid rotors and it was causing premature wear on my pads. Then found out about Floating Disc Rotors and I switched my front and rear disc rotors to Floating Disc Rotors because they dissipate heat faster and are not known to permanently warp like solid Disc Rotors. I went from a 160mm F/160mm R to 203mm F/180mm R with 4-piston Hydraulic Brakes and I have been loving it ever since. Yes, they are more expensive but worth it in my opinion. I do city riding/commuting so it's a lot of stop-and-go to legal speed.

Yeah mate, I understand that it’s a problem that’s why you need to run. High-end breaks like Magure or hope something vented in with like an E bike brake pad and you shouldn’t have any dramas but if you want to solve the problem for good my mate has some parts coming in from a special break manufacturer that has designed 250 mil vented discs with calipers like a motorbike that run dock fluid rather than mineral so the temperature is a lot higher and you don’t get as much heat and you get about twice as much stopping power. They’re very expensive about $1000 but worth every. Cent otherwise you’re gonna have brake fade and issues at high speeds.

I just bought a bike come with the rim and then just shopped around and got tries I’ve had a few set ups on it from push bike shops and motorcycles shops then got my mate with a motorcycle tire machine to fit them

K5 8000w is the 12000w hub just got one there heavy waight ebike Jessie luo agent said K5 8000w ebike destroy both higher power hubs because too heavy back hub on 12000w and 15000w

What battery do you have? I got the 5kW bike, with 72V26Ah battery. But i'm thinking of putting a SVMC72150 controller on it, but only keeping it at 100A peak, i got the data sheet for the battery that states it's rated current is 80A, which it currently uses(peaks at 6kW which is more). Is it possible to just upgrade the BMS, so it doesn't bottleneck and add the controller?

Hi mate no it isn’t the only way to make it faster is to add higher discharge battery cells so therefore you get an overall higher peak output that peak output will then transform itself through the BMS controller and then down to the motor to obviously create more power those motors even be in 5 kW can usually handle two or three times more than what they recommended is so motor you won’t have much of a problem controllers are cheap so if I was you I just build a high empties charge battery and BMS to suit and then you gonna have instant results without having to change your controller engine motor

@@North3rn_Nomad It's a hella fun bike, i live on an island so i'm jumping sand dunes and doing wheelies on the beach. There's a couple of downsides tho. There's a delay when twisting the throttle to when the motor starts and the delay increases at higher speeds, this almost makes it impossible to do wheelies without being on the rear brake all the time. The front suspension needed some new oil for it to work propperly, since it was very stiff in the start. I also regret buying the 26' wheels and not the 19', since smaller wheels helps on torque and lowers topspeed, 80km/h is enough.

Hey bro yeah that’s the start and they are good bike but not 12kw because of they batteries they have the be Samsung or LG something decent the batteries they give you are ok but not bud amp discharge so they no quite 12kw and cos of the controller also you need a good battery and a unlocked controller 200a and up cos the Eva batteries are average but ok if you can get a better battery do it Get DNM rear shock they better and front to if you can and don’t get tektro brakes they shit Shimano XT or Majura MT5 and those half twist totals are pretty average get a Domino throttle or a whole sensor throttle full grip one online and yeah will do easy 120km/h and easy 80kms range
