I love the DWG, in fact I went up to Shawnee on Delaware late Monday night till early Wed. The weather was awesome. Never saw the inside of that hotel but its known for Jazz music. Lots of history there. Waring Ave is named after a famous musician, Fred Waring, who I believe lived in the area. Proximity to NYC led to some famous visitors. I like to park in the boro and walk across I80 bridge in NJ and hike Mt Tamany (better views on NJ side) for a solid day hike. So much to do in the area. I recommend hiking the Thunderswamp trail system in Pike County if you ever return, or kayak the Delaware, or ride the McDade trail to Milford, PA, a really nice town to visit as well.

The deer head inn is the oldest jazz club in the country, tons of history. Kinda pricey but worth every penny. ✌️🤙
