Awesome setup man! Have you had any issues with the power boost? Is there anything you would change about the power boost truck (I.e., 6.5 ft bed?)?

Glad you like it - thanks for the kind words! 2 options I can think of that I do not have that might be cool...although there are drawbacks to both of these options too: 1) I think at times I would like the moon roof while lying in the bunk - would be cool to see the stars and trees etc. 2) The 7.2kW ProPower inverter would be useful at times too since with the 2.4kW I need to limit how many appliances I can run at once.

Why do you have an extra battery bank if the truck has its own battery?

Good question! Ultimately it is not completely necessary to have, but I already had it since I bought it to see if I could electrify my previous F-150 which was not a hybrid. Running the fridge is the main advantage to having a separate battery - I can completely turn the truck off and leave for up to a few days and have the fridge still running. To keep power on the truck outlets you have to have the engine "running" - if you turn everything off (HVAC, radio, lights) the truck still uses about 200-300W it still runs down the battery and the engine still kicks on intermittently to recharge the hybrid battery. When the truck is on, there is some fan noise from the engine compartment which is fine if you are camping in a populated area (it is relatively quiet), but it really harshes the mellow when you are in remote areas and there is not wind noise to mask the fan noise. The other reason is that I can cook an entire meal with the truck completely off so the peace and quiet and simplicity is nice. I have set up things for winter by moving all freezable items inside the cab (into lower bunk area). Now it will only sleeps one in the upper bunk. Gonna try it out next week for a few days!
