I started watching this during some down time at work yesterday and I had to stop at 17:33 because I just lost it. I laughed so loud when the cop car stopped at your vehicle and you whispered "Look at that the cop is looking around my car" but the video is pitch dark. Love these videos!!!

I probably would have just stayed laying down and hope they just leave! They'd be way more concerned and upset if they see someone running! They'd probably think the person was doing something really bad to the property or something. Worst case they finally walked over to him he'd just simply be laying down sleeping so really not all that bad. He could have pretended to be homeless and make them feel bad 😂 but seeing him running away they'd think he was some horrible criminal

Reminds me of my own stealth camping adventure. I camped in a new residential construction area. House was still framed.. no sheetrock yet. I climbed into the attic on the catwalk and was doing my camp up there. Cops showed up.. walked all through the house while i was laying prone across the catwalk. They never checked the attic. They walked around and left. I jumped down and ran like hell out if there. You earned a sub today.. keep it up

The lady with the dog is actually less suspicious than a guy with a camera and a bag on a golf course because nobody will ask her why she has a dog but I think you should have camped in the woods or stayed in the bushes it’s still the golf course and you should have parked somewhere else this could have worked if you were more stealth

I wasn't necessarily equating the 2 activities, Im simply stating that "If I shouldn't be there, neither should she". I dont think my car was the issue at all.... I believe it was being seen by the woman in general while walking (like she was) and cooking (on her way out), and her never watching me leave. I was far enough into the course as to not be seen by anyone unless they were reasonably into the course itself, also being on a very low ground surrounded by rolling terrain and tree lines. There will be redemption

Couple of suggestions... Arrive later, like when it's already dark. Park further away so no one can tie your vehicle to you. Don't have ANY lights on when you are out in the open. Thank for the video.

This video - the parking is def another learning experience. I do like to film in daylight if at all possible - I feel like photographing foliage is a good excuse. I feel pretty sheltered down in the bunker, but obvious it wasnt stealthy enough. Learning as I go! Much love for the time and comment!

The photographing foliage alibi only holds up if there is still daylight. Once the cops find you, not entirely sure what the excuse/reason you’d have outside of the truth. And if it was truly the cops, they might have taken your plate info if they found your car (both upon arriving and finding it gone when they didn’t find your person). To those recommending being careful with all aspects of your packing in…just be cognizant of how many people are actually filing themselves. Be less conspicuous if possible. If necessary, film your opening antics separately before the actual camp and edit in the explanation after the fact so that you can stay safe.

My buddy and I were doing some shenanigans one night… nothing illegal but we ended neck deep in a creek for roughly 2 hours while about 5 people and the cops looked for us. They walked within 5 feet of us several times but they never shined into the water. Thank god we were in the water otherwise people would have known I pissed my pants.

i have had a similar experience at a local golf course here in sydney australia however i was with 6 other mates. we heard the building in the middle of the course was haunted. about 11pm at night we tried walking through the golf course to get close. even though there were 6 of us. we were all that quiete you would think you were alone. 3 of us managed to get within metres of the building while 3 of us waited about 100 metres back. next second we saw them near to running back. saying someone yelled at them. than they saw cops cars we all legged it through the golf course. cops getting closer & closer idk how they were catching up so fast in the near pitch black. me & my best mate jumped into a curved like sand ditch, not sure how but what im sure was a female cop shine her torchlight about 3 feet from the top of the ditch & never saw us. waited what felt like 2-3 hours in the sand ditch barely moving or making a sound. got back to my car. the other 4 we were with have already taken of in seperate cars. i drive my mate about 2 street still shaken. cop pulled us over wanted to know if we were on the golf course we said no but saw a group of people run out not long ago. she asked what direction and took off 😅. ive also heard of othee similar stories. what are cops so protective of people “breaking”. into a golf course? what are they going to do steal the grass/sand. most people would go on one just for curiousity/a shortcut. yet if i call the police saying there someone lurking up the side of my property near my bedroom window. they will take ages to get out, if at all.

From England in UK here, i remember me and few of my mates did 3 nights of stealth camping a few years back, first night we all got high and drunk on whiskey and we all had to turn our torches off as some bloody random idiot didn’t like that we had fun so reported us to the police lol, we had to run quietly in the dark as 8 police officers were spreader out on an open big field, luckily as we crossed a small wooden bridge and got one of our friends who was still sober at the time to speed off doing burnouts as we quickly left, then we saw the police slowly running back to there police cars, but luckily they never saw us again after that lol 😂👍

I often went into a Golf Course near where I live. It was within walking distance. I would never park where they could clearly connect my car to the trespass. It might look like I was visiting friends nearby. I didn't stay in an ambiguous setting. I would try to be in or out. If I'm in society It's just being in the Park. If I'm in the wild they can't see me. No lights! If they didn't know where I was or if they were not even sure I'm there just lying in tall grass would be enough. Transitioning from day to night was a big time to get caught. Then they know you are no longer doing the Day Time Thing. If you are doing the Night Time Thing they can't see or hear you. They "Out Stealthed you." Because they probably connected the car to the Woman and your lights they knew who you were and that you were there. They saw the car leave and they knew they won. They let you go out of a courtesy. It was a tip of their proverbial hat.

Golf course is a good idea, biggest problem I think is parking. The debrie pile is a great pace. True story; Gary Player, world renowned golfer, upon arriving in America for the first time at a golf tournament slept in a sand trap in his rain gear.

Putting that bright light on was not very stealthy, 😋 but good get away in the end. Loved the commentary as it happened. 😁 Would've been better to camp where you were in the day, listening to those guys talk 10 feet away. I'm a cautious thinker, I would have assumed there might be security who walk at night, so I'd not camp on the course itself.🤔🤷‍♂️ If using any light, a tiny red light would be a little stealthy, and helps preserve night vision. 🤔

You are absolutely correct! Each new video I learn a bit more! The jet-boil versus my enormous camp stove, not bring my huge rainbow pillow, fitting everything in 1 easy sized book-bag, etc! All picked up along the way! This time I definitely learned I need to start getting dropped off to certain areas!
