Cool video. I picked up a couple Hobo women, bought them dinner so I could hear their story. They had bathroom figured out. They carry a plastic bowl on outside of their pack which they use as modern day "Chamber Pot". They would line it with a plastic grocery bag, do their business in privacy of their tent, then toss bag into dumpster. In cities, they usually camp behind business so not to draw any attention to themselves.

@@LeprechaunFireman I love to walk and about 2-3 miles each way to grocery store would be about right. I need very little but Groceries, a Street Address, a Drivers License/ID, Cell Phone, and Bank Account are absolute requirements. A storage locker for seasonal clothing, supplies, and food storage is also essential. An actual street address is a requirement for ID & Banking services, there are private mailing services that give a person a street address which will serve as a legal residence requirement.

@miken7629 ... I had a house I lived in for almost a year, it had caught fire, luckily my half wasn't damaged. It had no water, power, or gas. I cooked on my propane grill. I ate a LOT of fish because I would stop on the way home and catch something, bring it home clean it grill it. Winter was pretty bad, but I had a kerosene heater. I would work odd jobs here and there to earn enough cash for any incidentals I needed. Lived a fairly normal life, and honestly, NO ONE knew. 🤷‍♂️

You could be even more stealthy by taking an MRE (or something similar) and one of the heater bags so you can drop the gas stove reducing your visual signature. The MRE can be eaten cold straight out the bag without any preparation so you could even eat it cold if you wanted to go ultra stealthy and avoid any smell of food. Doesn't have to be an MRE, could be one of the civilian type MREs designed for backpackers such as those from the brand Go Native!

It is fun camping just a little ways away from others that don't know you are there. Hiding, watching, cooking your meals and eating, relaxing and sleeping with no one the wiser that you're there. Been doing here in Texas for almost 35 years. Definitely seen some strange things... and people for that matter. Animal and people-watching in it's rawest form. Never ceases to amaze me how people act when they think no one is around....

From sitting in a tree stand to inner city delivery drivers... the wide mouth sports drink bottle is your friend when being "discrete" is important.... just be sure to mark it so you dont accidently double dip ha ha ha. I think for stealth camping the jet boil style stove with a hidden flame might help for low light. Fun video for sure.

Love cuervos music. This is what i would do if i had to camp there, i would try to wear clothes of same color like tan to further blend in with the tanish building e.g. Despite wearing blue, you did an phenomenal job at being unseen! Personally i would never camp in city because for me being a girl its not safe and its stressful for me so i prefer the woods. I love that you connect with foxes as a spirit animal. My spirit animals are ring seals cuz i love the cold, am fat and cant stand the heat, plus i can be silly. Anything more than 70 degrees is a no for me. Plus i love snow so when the rockies are snowy, its a call to enjoy nature. Plus like seals, im not a peoples person so thats another reason i like winter cuz more people stay indoors while im out.

The only time I ever stealth camped in downtown El Paso, I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. LOL My most memorable stealth camping experiences were when I was homeless while working in Southern California. I camped for a week in the foothills of the mountains near Rancho Cucamunga (sp?) with some gypsies as neighbors. Then one day, while I was at work, a beekeeper moved a bunch of beehives in. Then, I went and stayed with the Renaissance Festival for a few days. I bribed the security guard with a thermos of hot coffee every night for him to look the other way. Then I stayed at a state park near the beach outside Malibu for a while, but I guess it's not "stealth camping" if you're paying for the campsite, is it? But the hot showers were oh, so nice! A couple years ago, I was out shooting in a canyon on a ranch in the desert I have permission to shoot on. While I was sitting inside the door of my truck loading magazines, a mangy fox came walking by. He didn't even pay any attention to me. By the time I got my phone into play, he disappeared into some brush. He had mange so bad that I almost confused him for a chupacabra.
