Yes, we Floridians LOVE our Publix supermarkets! It's worth the extra expense to have a great shopping experience every time. And yes, I, too, have stayed in Publix parking lots in my SUV mini-camper. I prefer hospital parking lots or secluded woodlands, but Publix is a great option when needed, and they have excellent free WiFi, too.

I'm a little concerned about your dog being locked in a crate when it's now hot in Florida. Is she sleepy or lethargic? What if you were detained longer than you planned and she couldn't even be seen for someone to help her. Even 5 minutes in a hot car can cause a dog distress and they can't cool themselves down. And why do you not let her be out of her crate? It seems like she is always in it? Youre probablt mad at this but I'm a dog lover and it's not seeming right to me and she can't speak for herself.
