Stealth camping disused locks

Of the 17 locks on the canal, 12 of them were in staircases, where one lock goes directly into the next. At Nob End, between Kearsley and Little Lever, the canal climbed quickly by two staircases of 3 locks each, with a very short pound between the two.

you can manage being wet but when you're wet and cold , no fun . That's when having good clothing helps , woolen gear will keep you warmer even when damp . I really dislike cold feet but good socks and boots , helps a lot . Just part of the great outdoors .
