Excelent video and instructional as always. My first impression for this shifter was, "I have no need for a button that I don't use that often, and is within 12" of the original.". Then I read through the comments where you say, "I'll be using the other from the front camera." Ding Ding Ding that would be so useful for that purpose! I switch from front to back all the time when pulling a trailer and if I could do that without reaching from my shifter DUDE, Game changer. Now on my list. Happy New Year.

Yes I originally thought the same as you that it won't be that useful but surprisingly the ECT being in the thumb is not a bad idea specially if you need the extra push for inclines. But yes I mostly wanted this for my camera access, I have the same situation as you and would be alot more convenient access with these. Thanks again and happy new year!!

Hi thanks for watching! In regards to your question, you have to press it pretty decently to activate it so I don't think that's an issue. For the accessories I'm planning on using this on, it is also low risk if I press accidentally. One is for the ECT and I'll be using the other from the front camera. Keep you posted though if I run into issues! Just a really cool stealth mod in my opinion!

Lol why the heck are you holding the nob when you drive automatic? Never know when you gotta rush to reverse? Gotta keep your eyes peeled and your hand ready for them yard sales!

Haha you never know might need that fast and furious get away moves lol But no there's a standard mode to this just without the clutch. You can still change gears using the knob and that's how I drive most times lol.

No clue got it as a gift. Guess so, MESO products pretty popular. You can program it for alot of other accessories not just the ect. I've programmed the other bottom to turn on my front camera. My wife who's a bit shorter finds it useful when parking tight spots.
