Not sure about going overseas for some corpo is what I want;p The training and culture you recieve is gold. The only thing is the army is being used for more then just defending one country, sadly enough.

The thing that makes this ad so great is that it speaks to the men who are built to be RM. Never a failure, but also not someone who was guided or supported in civilian life. The rules of civilian society continue to move further away from the mindset and personalities of men who can be incredibly special with the right direction. Politicians and overtly PC individuals don't understand that those type of men are necessary to protect our values and interests because they are in a bubble.

And many of those people look down upon those who are tooled for this line of work. Everything has to be sunshine and rainbows. The funny thing is I think those people are actually more racist than anyone else because they categorize people by a physical characteristic that has zero influence on their character as a human being. I made a lifelong friend from the ROK Marines (South Korea) from training exercises. So much that the first time I took my son out of Europe it was to stay with his family in Daegu. He has stayed with us in South London as well. We have shared parts of our cultures with each other that no tourist or SJW would ever experience.

I was reading that they were having trouble getting people to volunteer. My God, why wouldn't you want to be part of this? It has such a rich history and tradition going back centuries. The Royal marines are the best of the best, like army Ranger units here in the states. For poor kids growing up like me- the military was a way up and out. One of my friends just retired from the US Navy as a helicopter pilot. He served in 3 branches of our military.

As a person who's part of the younger generation, if you want people to join you have to have recruiter's in schools or programs in schools to teach kids about military life. Like school trips to Army bases or bring tanks and helicopters to school and show them of. It will lead to growth of interest amongst the youth. That's what they do in the US

The only Brit with a longer confirmed kill was a member of the Army, and with the number of confirmed kills, there's none (there's a bunch of Soviets, a Canadian, Carlos Hathcock if you include his unconfirmed kills, and of course Simo).
