Without a shadow of a doubt the best work you've produced to date and, of course a great achievement for the preservation movement in Vic. Stunning. I hope that fellow enthusiasts/preservationists of EMU history in the UK especially will see this and be encouraged to see what can be done. There is so much potential over there for similar initiatives, if the powers that be can be brought around to acknowledging the fact.

This is one of the most beautifully shot and edited videos I have seen in a long time. You have certainly created a wonderful look at the history of Melbourne trains. Please keep doing this great work!

More inside views please. You can’t appreciate these beautiful trains only seeing the outside.

The smelling of the smoke was unbelievable it just smelled really bad but you could smoke 🚬 on trains then

Holy moly! What a sight. Even back in the day this would have been a treat to witness. Has anyone done any cab ride videos in the Tait yet? Would love to see and hear that!

Interesting concept. For some reason, I expected all the station to have a crowd. What's with the non standard horn blasts from the rattler? Great coverage, TFP

Ah the downsides of having moved up north. Fantastic footage mate. Historic parallel run and a great return to the rails for the Taits

I'm surprised that steamrail was given clearance to run to historic trains down a 2 track line parallel because of the normal suburban trains. wouldn't this impact the other scheduled services on the line? Either way a great spectacle to watch, great job mate 👍
@johnd88922 жыл бұрын
Lots of three and four track lines used. No parallel running on the two track sections that I could see

Absolutely awesome. May the Red Rattlers rule the tracks yet again. A remarkable effort in restoration and loving care. How many Tait motors and train carriages are still in existence? Hopefully more than just four.

My sister got married and we live near the station and my mum knew the train driver she didn't want the noise affected her married so my mum spoke with the gaird and he deliberately delayed the train so it didn't affect the married couple
