Steam Deck GROUNDED Linux FIX + Multiplayer Tutorial

I can see when I open the game and it directs me to Xbox Live sign where to put your email and password. After that I sign in but I don't stay logged in.

3 January 2023 as of today these steps work for logging in. Must have wireless or wired keyboard. Don’t use steam pop up keyboard. Start Grounded, At the press any button screen use your keyboard it ensure the keyboard is connected and working. Xbox Login Screen comes up. Screen in box is black. Press (tap) with finger the bottom middle spot in the box on the steam deck screen till you see color change. Type in username via. The wireless keyboard (you don’t see anything on the screen). Press tab 3 times. Then hit enter. Screen is still blank white, you see no change. Type in the password (you don’t see anything on the screen). Press tab 3 times. Then hit enter. You will see a quick view of the screen with “logging in” at the bottom then screen in box turns black again. You are logged onto Xbox network. Press (tap) the bottom middle spot in the box on the steam deck screen till screen changes back to main screen Now using Steam deck controls, select Multi Player, you will see the “you must log in to ….” warning screen, click OK. You might see the “Failed to Query….” warning screen, click OK. You will see a quick view of the screen with “logging in” at the bottom then screen (again) You should now see a “Log Out bottom (selection) at the bottom right of your screen and your Xbox user ID at the top right of your screen. Select Multi Player (again), play, set up Multi Player as you would on a normal system.

Grounded is steam deck verified as of update 1.2! It will run natively on steamos with no fixes required!!

Just a heads up this does NOT work outside of the Steam Deck's OS. I appreciate you getting it to work on the Steam Deck, but this game is absolutely unplayable on Linux outside of Steam Deck. At least as far as multiplayer is concerned.

Do you by chance have 2 factor authentication on the Microsoft account? It seems like accounts with 2 factor auth enabled are having issues logging in
