Wpuld I be right in.sating that the Tv1's are bigger than the Tk3's? Thats what they look like to me. :)

The Tv1's are bigger and heavier than the Tk3's as the Tk3's were designed for low axle load so that they could be used on lightly laid secondary lines. The Tv1's were used in heavier freight trains.

Only four Tv1's have preserved and one of them (the one seen in this video) is in working order. According to Wikipedia, there are 32 Tk3's preserved. At least three of them (1132, 1136 and 1150) are in working order. In addition to these the Tk3 1168 (haven't been used after 2014) and Tk3 1151 (currently in England) may be in working order.

@@Junakuvat yeah. The thing is if 1158 is in working order it can't run there because it's 5' gauge. It's a good thing theres 4 of them though. In Ireland the most amount of a single class of engibe preserved is 3 Ornstëin and Köppel 0-4-0Ts, 1 of which was cut up for spare parts. The Tv1s look really nice. 😄😄
