Control Volume Analysis of a nozzle requires both energy and conservation of mass. The same approach used for this nozzle can be used for heat exchangers, turbines, and pumps - any single inlet, single outlet component. (Multiple inlets or outlets can also be modeled by adding those extra terms.) Just start with the general form of the Energy Rate Balance and cross off terms you don’t need.
Be especially careful with your units. There are a lot of opportunities to make unit errors in these problems.
