Ok, so, some questions. What do you call this locomotive in NZ? Here in Canada the Canadian National had 5 of these 4-6-4T locomotives and they were called Suburbans. They were used in commuter service in Quebec, and also ran passenger trains in Ontario. 3 of the 5 survive. If it's a tender engine, it's a Hudson, which pretty much every railway had anyways. Nice sounding whistle on this engine. Good video.
