Your LED lights are cheap and have flicker so your video has annoying wavy lines man… Either upgrade your lighting to higher CRI flicker-free (real) lights, OR adjust your frame rate to reduce the rolling/shutter/flicker/strobing.

@@joystickayrton Actually light flickering can be fixed with your camera settings. Depending on what you are shooting on, adjust your frame rate or shutter speed so it is less in phase with the refresh of your lights.

I was hoping for a 99watt battery (they could do it) I was hoping same resolution, higher than 500 nits brightness. Not 1000 grams, and not the same GPU solution as the original when there’s a new one out.

interesting take.... I personally skipped the legion Go1 even tho it was the most compelling handheld on the market at the time. I could tell from just looking at it that the ergonomics were going to be an issue for me with those uncomfortable angled edges, no VRR, no OLED. But I could tell then that it was going to be incredible when they unenviably upgraded to OLED and improved battery life. I cant wait for the 2 to launch, but i agree... hopefully theyll find a way to maintain the resolution, nits and eventually get to a landscape display.

@@joystickayrton agreed. I really can’t stand the ROG Ally X because of the screen size. As far as the Go 2 I can deal with the 1200p downgrade to save some money but 500 nits is not bright enough for OLED in my opinion. You really need a bright screen to make the deep blacks and vivid colors stand out. Also, they are using a 2242 drive again which in mind boggling. They fit a full size 2280 in the Ally X but Lenovo’s engineers could manage to fit it in the massive Legion Go 2?!?

What's the source saying Legion Go 2 is 1920x1200? It is very odd that Lenovo has avoided stating the resolution but that being the case I assumed it would be the same as last time.

Valve has stated that the Legion Go S model will have the same OS version as the Steam Deck and any major OS updates will be shipped at the same time to all devices. Tbh, I just wanna get my hands on the SteamOS beta when it releases.

Disagree, cant wait to upgrade to legion go 2. Oled vrr and a z2 chip is all I wanted. Maybe the only other thin is it hope they put an oculink port on it. My only disappointment is that its a prototype with no release date.

I think we as customers need to wait for real world reviews of the new claw 8ai. We were told the original claw was going to blow the ally out the water, then we got garbage hardware and software!

I got an Ally X last month. As soon as I saw tons of reviews on MSI claw 8AI with better performance, battery, and ergonomics I decided to return the product to wait for MSI Claw 8I. The price point is exactly the same as the ASUS Ally X top config but MSI does get 1 inch more for screen size which I think it’s the sweet spot as evident by Steam Decks Oled popularity.

Ally X is an amazing device don’t get me wrong and I enjoyed my time with it but I just like a slightly bigger screen specially when I used to have a Deck Oled but lost in my travels. If the z2 extreme is more efficient it should get the same battery life as the handhelds with 80w hour batter life and It’ll be as bad as you thing the increased ram will play apart im performance you can change drivers and the last legion go was reasonably priced don’t rule it out before you have all the details and test it

Well I see the merit in what your saying but the Go S and Go 2 both are going to benefit from better battery life not just because they both have bigger batteries but the Z2 extreme in the case of the Go 2 is gonna give better performance and more efficient battery consumption. But honestly your more tapped in than me so I could be dead ass wrong 😂😂😂. I'm only now gonna get a legion go so I'm holding on hope 😅😅. No I think you pretty much nailed it. I think all the companies failed in my opinion. I mean you got AMD.What do they have basically no graphics card. The CPU yeah sure they're good but they're all a bunch of rehash or all they did is add more cash to the CPUs who cares. In fact the only people that's going to Care is if they're in the market for a new CPU otherwise keep what you already have. As far as Nvidia goes congrats you added software to make generated frames for your upcoming graphics card which by the way something could have already been done with a $7 app from steam. And as far as the rest of nvidia's news who cares about the rest of it really had nothing to do with consumers for the most part. I don't know if intel was even at the show. But I know you brought up MSI claw yeah that's impressive but let's face it that was just them fixing what they should have done in the first place. So am I an opinion again it's just another rehash. It seems that Intel spends too much time fixing their products. these days instead of actually making good products in the first place. So my whole opinion of the show was a giant flop it was disappointing all around better for next year I guess.

I bought a LEGO when it launched. I was excited for the LEGO 2 but came to my senses. I went and got an Asus Strix 18G and called it a day. No handheld can compare.

I ended up using my Go as a tablet and carried a mouse and keyboard around with me. At that point I might as well have a laptop so yeah I came to my senses I guess lol. Depending on how good the Go 2 is, I may pick it up as well, though. idk yet.

The legion go 2 with no price point is questionable but the lack of support downturn of resolution is at least questionable and then when it comes to the S windows version with the very cut down chip z2 go chip at 729 is a joke. The z1 extreme at 550 brand new right now should destroy that chip

They started off well at the beginning with several updates but they came out slower and slower, the developers finding excuses behaving like bigger, but more seldom updates would be better, but soon we realized those were all empty words! GPU drivers being behind half a year, not answering in the official forums to customers anymore and still didn't implement essencial features they promised at thr beginning, and which competitors have, like being able to change the VRAM settings directly in Legion Space and not only in the BIOS... The support is just fully dead and this already since months! This is ridiculous for a reknown company like Lenovo! I'm still disappointed...

Copped my 4070ti for 575 and I'm blown away bc i've never had a high end card. Vram issue is way overblown. If it was relevant then the 4060 16gb would perform better than the 8gb one. And it doesn't. Vram is about allocation so that's why my 4070ti beats the 3090 even in 4k with only half the vram. And that's without turning on all the 40 series exclusive features. It's also why so many old gpus like 5700xt, with only 8gb, still beats the arc b580. Vram is cool if you're playing in 4k but if not, there are so many other factors that affect performance.

That's a weird argument dude, you would be playing in 4k on a 5080. Nvidia is charging premium prices and they're skimping on cheap ram just to shorten the cards lifespans. A 3080/3080ti are not that old the ram on them shouldn't have to even be a point of concern for the consumer at all for what they cost, much less on a brand new card like the 5070ti. A 5080 will probably have enough but still its a $1000 it should have 20gb at least.

Legion go s windows model too expensive for such a trimmed down chip, cutting the resolution on the legion go 2 and running a old gen GPU is disappointing, battery underwhelming to size(efficiency will help) and it’s 100 grams heavier. Now price point could change all of this but just from what was released that’s my reaction. It could completely change with real world testing
