There will be a DLC Vol.2 pass for R-Type Final 2 later this year or somewhere next year. I hope stage 4 of R-type would make the cut as DLC. The music and the stage looks great. That's my guess, I could be wrong.

Nice to know there is R-Type for Pc version to and not only on PS1, PS2, PS3 and Mame32 and other game computers :) I have played R-Type I and II and other R-Type games from the game computers I have here at home, such as Mame32 and PS2 emulator, my PS3 which is not a emulator :) I have played R-Type on my C64 and Amiga 500, which I had for many years ago :) I which there was a very good version of Salamander 1 and 2 too on PC and better graphic in the game, as it is from the original version :) Pity that there is not PC version of Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype, but Söldner-X: Himmelsstürmer there is a PC version because I have played though the game for some years ago, but that was on my previous computer, but I have never tried to play the game from my Laptop yet.

You do know this is just a compilation of HD remakes of the first two R-Types, right?
