I agree. Crosby whistles are usually good sounding whistles, but this one is especially good. It’s no wonder why, with the good bass tones and deep voice. The Southern always had a thing for good sounding whistles; even their hooters had a good sound to them.

They sure are hard on that Crosby whistle. It really shows when you hear the thing making that screeching sound that it’s not supposed to make. However, it does sound great on the Tweetsie Ghost Train.

Usually if it’s speaking it a lot it means something is broken

Well it was tuned to be a screecher on purpose. But by the end of the day it was tuned differently; probably due to complains

The whistle had a crack in it, and it was retuned in July of last year. That's why, at the beginning of the video, the whistle sounds the way it does.

Its okay the screeching sound was just the built up water! 🤭

Nope it was actually due to a overflow in the chimes and making it not sound right the fix was to put a washer in it
