Another wonderful resort review; Cody, keep them coming. I have a question that you are the right person to answer: how does Steamboat compares to the Idaho ski resorts for beginner to intermediate progression?

@@illusion1user The Greenhorn Ranch learning center at Steamboat is like nothing I've seen for a first time skier. I can't imagine a better place to learn. After that, there's longer and prettier beginner runs than I've seen anywhere. The intermediate runs are like beginner runs and the advanced runs are like intermediates. Sun Valley has Dollar mountain, and Schweitzer has a few good runs for beginners, but nothing compared to express chairs and gondolas at Steamboat. Basically, Steamboat is amazing for progression, Sun Valley is good and Schweitzer is substandard. Hope that helps. Didn't feel like places like 49 and Silver were worth mentioning...

No way! Outside of one collection of blues (Sunshine) it is nightmare to find a good collection of blues together. I had high hopes but was disappointed. The village / Apres is solid but did not like the mountain layout.
