As someone who last saw Steamboy in 2007, and has played Dawn of War 1 religiously for 11 years, but never got into DoW2, this music is really great for telling the future. Both good, and bad.

If you can't bring yourself to play Chaos Rising just watch Big Dick Cheney's DoW 2 and Chaos Rising cutscenes. The song may be great for the movie but I'll always think of Avitus's betrayal whenever I hear it.

Steamboy was an underrated movie. It is a hidden gem. They don’t make movies anymore good like this that involves fiction and science or engineering. What fascinated me the most in the story is about genius engineer boy whose character isn’t common and when other movie have a genius boy scientist or engineer it’s poorly executed. Rest in peace Steamboy which you will always be in my heart and others fans’ hearts.❤

Ironically after preordering it then several playthroughs of the campaign later I used to play Dawn of War 2 with the regular Music Turned off and instead used Choice bits from the Gears of War 2 soundtrack playing instead, Steve Jablonsky was one of the People that composed it. Then many years later I watched the Avitus as the Traitor video from BigDickCheney as the one time I played through Chaos Rising I did a purity run with none of the Squads being the Traitor so It was Martelus I fought and only through that video did I hear this music. Then after failing to find the music from that video I later stumbled across by chance the Sabaton Livgardet AMV featuring the Steamboy World Fair Battle. Then some time after that I finally watched the Movie and recognised the music and saw Steve Jablonsky in the credits. Man it's been one Hell of a ride...

This is such an epic track, and it fits so, so well for this part of the movie. The first half is very suspenseful, then suddenly it becomes despair-filled and hopeless as the entire castle finally begins to collapse around them...then just as all seems lost... cue the heroic shift at 5:05 as Ray saves Scarlet and they escape just in the nick of time, with the entire thing exploding behind them. Steamboy has one of my favorite movie soundtracks, and the movie just wouldn't have been the same without these amazing compositions.

I've had one Hell of a mindbending trip with this one; I've played both Dawn of War II and Watched this movie and the cherry on top is I used to play the Gears of War 2 soundtrack with that game and found out recently Steve Jablonsky was the composer not only for Gears 2 but Steamboy as well. The man is a godlike composer that deserves to be counted amongst the greats like Hans Zimmer.

The 40k universe is about the "grindark struggle of all the races involved but mainly focusing on the inperium of man whos bravest guardians and the space marines. In the game dawn of war you play as a chapter of these marines known as Blood ravens. In dawn of war 2 chaos rising, the blood ravens are feeling their chapter fall to the ruinous powers (basically 4 satans). Someone made a video showcasing gameplay of one of them falling to chaos, using this soundtrack for the epic moment
