Dare I say a stand that makes people superior to you believe obvious lies is even more fitting. Stands usually have SOME kind of restriction attached to them. (crazy diamond not able to heal their user, star platnium's short range, ect...) So an added restriction in only effecting people in charge of yourself makes a lot of sense. I could see a stand user like this fitting in part 5, with them being at the bottom of command in the Passione as a spy, specifically to abuse their ability.

Although non-stand user superindentents cannot see Aurora Borealis, simply being within its presence and range will render the superintendent under its effects. Stand Name: Aurora Borealis Stand User: Seymour (Long Ranged, Psychological) This Stand though lacking in physical power, being weaker than even the user himself possesses a powerful illusion ability with a wide area of effect the size of a 2 story building that Seymour can activate at will to anyone within the Stand's 1km radius range. Aurora Borealis weakens certain linkages of the brain that has to do with critical thinking and logical reasoning, making them highly susceptible to being gaslit, especially by Seymour. However, the ability is incredibly damaging and may leave a long lasting, even permanent scar on its targets, damaging their brain to a potentially irrepairable state.

I think that's exactly what they would be, because that's what would work the best for Aurora Borealis. The user naturally sees themself as inferior to other people, but if they can convince someone else that they are also superior to them in some way (it could vary from a real job position, to a skill set, to a familial or social dynamic, or simply prey on arrogant tendencies), then their Stand can trigger. The Aurora Borealis arc would thus go like this: a demonstration on some random person being mean to the user happens at the start. Then, the protagonists enter, and one inevitably sets off the enemy Stand. Someone else, probably the protagonist, bails them out and the Aurora user doesn't risk blowing their cover by using it again right away. Some time later, the protagonist and the other character are isolated and both fall under the Stand's effects, which are promptly triggered several times in a row to trap them in a layered illusion. From there, JoJo stuff happens, and the good guys manage to trick the villain with a bad lie of their own (or a real warning that sounds like one - this villain's character archetype is ripe for self-destructive behavior).
@iantaakalla81808 ай бұрын
Honestly, depending on who has Aurora Borealis, the stand user could be the main bad of the part; they always think horribly of themselves because they are a vulnerable narcissist, so they developed Aurora Borealis as a stand, and now they de facto run whatever place they work at because everybody follows their will. The humble newcomer would, not falling for Aurora Borealis because they have worked at healthy places, work their way up to defeating the stand user with Aurora Borealis by getting the user to grandstand and therefore look down on them and then Aurora Borealis is canceled for everybody. The previous arcs are the attempts of the user of Aurora Borealis to take out the newcomer to the workplace because he always fears that someone may topple his power.
