Very nice video . Thanks for posting it . I agree Roundhouse Engineering are very helpful folks. I built a Hunslet " Jack " in 7/8ths inch to the foot scale last year using Roundhouse parts. One of my favorite locomotives now , as it is my own work.Charles M

Hi Charles, always liked the Wirral class of engine which Jack's one of. Hope to build one myself one day.

Reworking the valve gear seems like a scary (tho fascinating) proposition. I expect Jonathan G must've been steaming for a few years before taking that step.

Love this!!! I'm working on one but it's going kind of slow...

Steam engine building can be slow but enjoy it, it's very gratifying.

I've made many things but this is the most complicated so far.

Can you please tell where can I buy a kit for a locomotive for garden railway? Thanks

I've never seen that model engine with only one buffer in the middle of the buffer beam.

The roundhouse lady Anne as we know it wasn’t released until 1995. So how could you have built it in 1991 when roundhouse gave you the loco dimensions and parts from a loco that hasn’t been even released and wouldn’t be for 4 years?

I took a look at the plans Roundhouse sent to me when I was building Isabel and they are dated February 1990. I found their catalogue for 1989 and it has Lady Anne MK3 without the rear bunker similar to mine though they say on their website it was introduced in 1995.

When you say "gas" is that petrol or diesel or gas (as we know it here)? Yes, a lovely video.

Thanks John, I use a mixture of butane and propane you can buy at most hardware/camping stores.
