All these years later and still the most burning question on my mind with these games is where are the cows? Without 'em our beloved Cowbots seem to be missing something.

I love how absolutely vibrant the colors are in this game! I understand it being on an oceanic shard of Earth, and the first was in space, but I'm loving all the gorgeous looks and gameplay! Wishlisted for PS5, Day 1 purchase! Especially if there happens to be a physical version!

The removed death penalties will be much appreciated, as I'll be playing this on Elite from the start. I'm assuming that your crew don't automatically heal after a mission, just like the sub? You'll need to end the day for them to heal. If I can say, I really miss Killshot's sound effect when it's triggered. The 'BWANNG' was really cool. And don't worry, I already wishlisted this the moment it was possible ;)

The custom difficulty is cool, I just hope there's still an achievement for beating every mission on Elite like the first game. Or, at the very least, some kind of system to track the highest levels of each custom value you've beaten a mission on and screenshot it to your friends.

I am super excited for this game. I will not watch the trailer to go in as spoilerless as possible. One suggestion I do have if any of the devs are reading this. I had issues in the first game being able to use all characters I wanted to use cause of benched characters not getting exp. Is it maybe a possibility for benched characters to also get (a portion of the) exp? I love swapping around characters in my rpg games to experiment with builds and such. I felt like heist 1 did not give me that option. In any case I hope the launch will go smooth and wish you guys a lot of luck.

Thanks so much! In SteamWorld Heist II, all characters who participated in the mission will get some XP (even if they are scrapped). So even if a heist did not quite go as planned, you will still be able to level up your characters! We hope that this will help with trying out new builds and experimenting a bit, without potentially losing lots of XP!

Indeed! Each mission/map is handmade and unique (so not randomised) but enemy and cover locations will be random each time!

I have two questions to ask. 1. will there be a dlc? 2. Approximately how long is the game? I plan on doing a 100% speederun after my first or second playthrough. Also I wish listed.

Welcome to the crew! And thanks for your questions! 1. We don't have anything to share on that front yet but keep an eye on our channels for any future updates! 2. The game will have around 35+ hours of gameplay but with random enemy spawns and cover locations as well as the new job system allowing for more complex builds that could vary a lot per player! We can't wait to see the speedruns for this game - plenty to optimise and experiment with!

I can't wait for the soundtrack to the game to be available to listen to on platforms like youtube or spotify. Even though my pc is quite weak, I'm really excited for this game, since Heist is one of my favourite games I've played on the 3ds, and I am excited to play the game, even if on 30fps on lowest settings.

looks like heist's style with the more vibrant colors of dig 2 also if you plan to release the soundtrack on steam, please release as a specified soundtrack and not a dlc. When it's DLC, it can't be played in the steam music player.

It honestly depends on your preferences and play style. You can choose from easygoing difficulty levels like Story or even Moderate to extreme difficulty levels like Veteran or Elite - or create a custom difficulty just for you! We wanted to give players as much freedom as possible so you can tailor your experience exactly how you like it!

Are the missions procedurally generated like in the Original Game?

Each mission is handcrafted by our artist so will not be procedurally generated like last time. However, enemy and cover locations can change so missions should still feel different each time and you'll need to adjust your strategy to account for this!
