Re: The "missing gun". It isn't missing. If you look at the packaging the secondary plastic that holds the blast effects goes up against the bottom left corner of the main package... right where the main automatic rifle whatever gun it is goes. That indent that looks like it should have a gun is only there to hold that seconadary plastic packaging for the blast effects in place. You can tell by pressing them together. Also, the Golden Gun goes with the Commander. You can see him holding it in the package art

These two figures are a pleasant surprise. The Twilight Guard is so many pieces: Crimson Guard helmet, Cobra Officer upper torso, HISS driver arms, and Crimson Guard legs. He’s got the original Gung Ho’s weapons painted purple and black plastic. He’s got Tripwire’s shoulder guards with Crimson Guard’s side arm and holster, belt, knife, and sword with sheath. So many pieces kit bashed and with a new half cape. The color scheme with pops of orange and purple is striking. It’s a new character like Wolf Spider which I really like to see them do in Classified. Hasbro dud release a file card digitally for these guys and it’s something they should have done with Wolf Spider. Create new characters and give us some taste of their character in a file card. I like the Steel Corps Commander too on the Low light body. This is an elite soldier two pack which give some fun photo buddy characters. Green shirts and plain Cobra troopers are cool but these soldiers are just a bit more beefy. Valaverse has some great figures too. I like the Steel Corp helmet a bit more than Steel Brigade. Sure it looks a bit more round and squashed than a real head would fit in but it may be the gridiron hero affect the Football helmet gives off that makes it more appealing to me. Yeah I think they look like Football commandos with the armor and shoulder pads which I like. They’re like the line men doing the trench work and the named Joes are the skilled positions. That Crimson Guard helmet is so cool looking too. There’s some Sci-Fi leanings I loving too. The more I think about it, I really like this two pack. I mod my figs. Took a 1/16 th drill bit and cut in ports to the Gung Ho repainted weapons and the gold hand gun. Now they hold the blast effects which adds value to their overall look.

I love the Crimson Guard repaints (although I wish it still included the "Crimson"). Is that technically a "Goldhead" Steelhead Brigade? That was technically the Patreon Donor name for the HCC 788 (now retired) You Tube Channel supporters. Thanks for the video (not a lot of people cover GI Joe Classified).

According to the text on Pulse, the Twilight Guard is a devotee of the Order of the Serpent's Eye, which isn't a thing we've heard of before, but I'm guessing we'll hear about it again.

That was for the gun that sits above the tray so when its under it sits flush

Great review. I got mine today. For the second tray with blast effects, there is no machine gun. It has that indentation so it can fit under a machine gun on the first tray. I thought a gun was missing as well. But then as I played with where that second tray fits, I noticed it was just so it can sit properly under the first tray.

I just got mine in and...ugh....only one pistol for the Joe but two holsters? Wussup with that? I have to admit that this one is FAR better than the original Steel Core release. Also, the Twilight Guard has new arms and new boots. We haven't gotten whatever figure belongs to those, so that's interesting. The OG Gung-Ho accessories are still terrible.

Very excited to see the Heavy Duty & Law & Order Rendering. Not to big on this set right now, maybe later. Really hope to see Version 2 of Stalker soon. The Kayak & white Jacket over the green camo was always one of my favorite Joe's. Great review as always sir Kyle!

I like it for the Twilight Guard. The colors are good and the cape is a fun accessory. Don't care much for the Steel Core but as that is the GI Joe mail away for people to have their own figure, that will be me on my shelf.

Nice review bro! I have not opened Big Ben yet but the Rock’n Roll #71 came with a similar heavy machine gun with attached bi-pod.

Definitely agree with you about modernizing the line. Not too much, but enough of a nod to the 80’s line. I don’t love the initial duke, gung ho, etc I’m the classified line, but the vast majority are awesome! I’m new to collecting, so I’m definitely interested in these Hiya figs! Thanks for the review! Loving the channel

You’re not missing that gun it’s cut out so that the other gun would fit in. Basically it’s an open spot so that the gun in the other plastic will fit

I like it. The weapons for the twilight guard has and backpack comes from Gung Ho but works better with twilight

Honestly i think passing is a mistake. If you have the steel corps, might as well get a commander. The Twilight guard just looks cool to and i think is the next story upcoming like dark enorgion thing.

Great review of this set. I think this set is fine but could be better but my biggest disappointment is the height of the Steel Corp figure. That was the biggest complaint people had for the original and now here with the commander it’s still the same problem.

@@KylePeterson1980 true, he definitely is an improvement over the original. Just wished he was a little taller but I’m happy to include him on my shelf along with the rest of the Steel Brigades I have from both lines.
