You should make a video showing how you do this. Like "how" do you start? It's comparatively easy for a musician to play with others, but you've got to do it all. How do you get it right at the beginning when there is no reference to the riff you are playing. So very cool. Just awesome. What a great gift.

Great observation! You asked, "How do you start?" and "How do you get it right at the beginning when there’s no reference to the riff you're playing?" Thank you for the question! Maybe someday I’ll make a video explaining my process in detail. I really appreciate the support. For now, the short answer is that I start with a count-off at the beginning of the song to guide when to start performing. This count-off is muted in the final version. It’s similar to how a drummer counts in a live performance to cue the band. First, I create the studio audio track (the final product that you hear), and then I film the video. When recording the video, I re-perform the part that I recorded in the studio, syncing up my actions with the audio track. For example, in this song, "Stir It Up," I replayed the riff during the video shoot, but the video’s audio is muted, and I use only the original studio recording for the final video. It’s kind of like lip-syncing, but everything you hear is 100% me. It can be a bit tricky and takes some time to get right, but I hope that clears up any confusion about how I make my videos. Thanks again for your awesome question!

@@Johan-lg2cc Le plus excellent! Merci beaucoup! Base de fans en France? Sweet! BTW Finishing up my rendition of a Slightly Stoopid song called "Wiseman", coming in a few weeks. Also, working on a steel pan rendition of "Let 'Em In" by Paul McCartney & Wings, sounding cool. Probably be ready by the end of August...or, maybe sooner. Thanks again. Peace :)

which track do you lay down first?
@danodrum Жыл бұрын
Depends on the song. But I usually start the rhythm section. This song I started with drums and bass and then created a scratch track for the guitars, steel pan and etc.. I start laying down the permanent tracks once the rhythm track completely created. But there is a lot of re-recording. It’s a very long process of mixing and mastering before I even start the video creation. 🙏🥁🎸😎
