Saw\Alice in Chains at Knebworth in August, absolutely amazing still , William Duvall is one hell of a front man , the thing people forget is that AIC were always about every member of the band back in the day, no 1 guy was more important than the other , and that remains today, layne will never be forgotton , but i'm just glad they are back and released the best comeback albumof all time

Agreed Godsmack is very popular, more then Steel Panther will ever be most likely, but that is not the point of the band. It's a Vegas act meant for comedy and enjoyment it isn't really serious. Sully attended and they probably just asked him to do this. He did it for fun not for any thing serious music wise. In 2008 this nobody even heard of Steel Panther, except people who frequented their shows.
