Another lefty here, great job! Although watching you is weird because I'm so used to learning a song from righties like i was looking into a mirror. This album saved my sanity after a major surgery last year, thanks for doing this.

Thank you. I appreciate that very much. Have you ever considered switching to playing right handed?

@@anthonylumpkins8632 haha thats such a left hander question haha. yeah man, many times! cheaper guitars for one thing! always awkward back in the day going to house parties and people asking me to play...no matter what it was always a right handed guitar there. luckily i learned early on to playa right handed guitar upside down, high E on the top haha. very wierd to play but made it work! weird watching leftys play, it looks...unusual haha. i say we stick to what we are though!! i ended up making my own guitar.. its a ibanez Jem body (copy) with a maple 22 fret neck (blame satchel for that haha) emg 85 in the neck and bridge. sounds pretty good! and a floyd rose too. your guitar is a beauty though! loving the flip paint! what pickups you running? looks like you have something different in the bridge. keep rocking dude!

In this video, I have the Seymour Duncan Sentient in the neck and the DiMarzio Imperium in the bridge. I recently swapped both out for the Imperium set in white, it makes the guitar pop a little bit more. And I know what you mean, I’ve thought about switching many times, but I’m 10 years into playing and it’s just not worth it. It’d be nice to have more options for guitars though. That’s why I play ESP/LTD exclusively. They’re the only brand besides Schecter that gives us lefties a fair amount of options. Plus, their guitars are top notch.

Absolutely. As long as I genuinely like the song, or if someone makes a request which I don’t expect this early in my KZbin career.

Cool video man! But may i suggest you go easy on the lights? They are pretty distracting when flickering like that in the background
@anthonylumpkins8632 Жыл бұрын
I was worried about that haha. I figured I’d try it for one video and see the response it got. Things you think are cool don’t always work and that’s fine. Anyway, I appreciate you watching and giving me your feedback.

I never seen a lefty les paul
@anthonylumpkins86322 жыл бұрын
Really? They’ve been around for a while now. The Eclipse from ESP is the most common variant out there.

I have a Gibson lefty Les Paul. They'll make them here and there. In fact I have an SG that left the factory the same day as the LP, so it must have been "Lefty Week" at Gibson. My first guitar was a Flying V and the side fret markers are on both sides of the neck. It was common for them to just take a production neck off the line and flip it over.
