Oh yeah - and still.relevant. Racism is still a curse on us. It has no place in a modern society.

I agree.. One of the best albums ever made imo.. Fro. Start to finish its amazing. And its sad so many people missed out, since they are way underrated. Havent lissened to them in a long while. It all comes back. Im in tears after Prodigial Son and this.. Its amazing how synced they are. Even Live

Remember this band made it during the era of punk.
@rudypericolo Жыл бұрын
Not trying to be a troll here but, you say that like it's a surprise, or even as a slight against punk. At many of Steel Pulse's early shows the majority of the crowd were punks. Actually well into the 80s too, I saw them in a punk club in the US about 1984-85'ish and 75% of the crowd were white punks. Way back when in 1970s England the poor white kids weren't hanging out with rich white kids, they were hanging out with other poor kids... many of which were the children of Jamaican immigrants who brought with them the tunes from their homeland. So you got the white kids and punk and the black kids with Ska and reggae. There was a lot of cross pollination between the music styles a lot a curiosity and supporting of each other's bands and music. And politics too, look up rock against racism late 70s England punk and reggae bands playing together in a show of unity. Ever hear the song punky reggae party by Bob Marley? Listen to the lyrics, it's exactly about that time and place in music history. To this day many punks are still big fans of reggae ☝️The same thing happened here in the US though it was more of the early rap/ hip hop that bled across.
