John's sock accounts are fairly easy to spot. John makes the classic 'stupid person who thinks they're smart' mistake of assuming that everyone else is dumber than him. So he's very bad at hiding his sock accounts. And besides, anyone who would legitimately want to compliment John is probably not allowed to use a computer without supervision.

John is apparently subbing in 7th grade algebra. And reportedly as soon as he got in there he was big-timing the kids and telling them to Google him to see how famous he is. One of John's biggest brags is that he went to and graduated from NYU. Now it his is technically true, but as with everything John says, between 50% and 100% of it is a complete lie. The truth about this story is that he only went to NYU for two years, after he transferred there from a community college.

There had to absolutely be, at the very least, one of those kids that googled his garbage name and a slew of Dabblers, Stern reddit and Radio Gunk stuff popped up and when a kid asked about it all, Stutterbox went into angry, alcoholic, self loathing mode and stuttered and stammered on about "trolls and haters ruining his life etc." I'm positive that happened.

I don't think he even went to NYU. His former friend and lawyer Vinnie said the SJ went to NY Community College on long Island which everyone who lives there calls "the 13th grade". I'm betting John never saw a day at NYU.
