USC fan and alum here. I've always liked Michigan fans until I ran into one on these KZbin discussion threads, but I refuse to tar the rest of them with that outlier experience. Most Michigan fans are very classy and know their sport. Hail to the Victors! You guys have a noble tradition and I love your mascot. Never mess with a Mustelid! I hope you guys get your groove back. The Big Ten needs a strong Michigan program.

Except they had 1 "championship" over that era of 2002-2008. I'd love to see the '04 SC team vs any of Saban's Bama teams or the '19 LSU team. I'd give the edge to the SEC team just on defense and depth. Those USC teams besides 2008 were "okay" on defense. As a diehard ND fan, my hatred for U$C runs deep but I gotta give respect to the Pete Carrol era. That dude owned ND, every fucking year! Hopefully the rivalry returns this year. Riley has them looking good, a tad overrated but beats those awful Clay Helton years. Hoping ND keeps the streak alive this year. Go Irish!🍀🍀🍀

This was a very good Michigan team - they had a hiccup at Oregon and got clipped by a field goal at fellow Top-10 team Iowa. USC made them look very average in this game which was a tribute to how good they were. Lloyd Carr even broke the Coaches' poll rule by voting USC #1 even though the coaches had an agreement to vote for whoever won the designated BCS title game (LSU that season).

As a Michigan fan, this is one of those "tip your cap" games where you can't complain much. There was no way Michigan was going to win dealing with that DL, and the defense played better than I remembered against two Heisman winners. The 2007 Rose Bowl is the frustrating one. The defense almost pitched a shutout for a half, but the offense was just stretch runs and dropback passing on obvious passing downs. My least favorite Lloyd Carr gameplan (redeemed himself in his finale against Florida).

I'm big time USC fan since 72 my parents went to USC and they took me to game's back in 72 I was 5 year's old! Anyway I have always like Michigan always so I would always cheer for them during the season but if they played us in the Rose bowl then I have to root for my team always I have the most respect for them always love their marching band hand's down we beat Michigan in 2007 felt bad for them they Lost in 2004 2005&2007 man they should have best Texas! Michigan was a thousand times better then them! Anyway fight on ✌️🏈

I was at the game. USC alum On the endzone where Lienart caught that TD pass. There was two guys sitting to.my right. Michigan fans,As soon as the ball.was snapped on that play one of the guys said to his friend, thats going to be a pass to Lienart, i laughed, a couple of seconds later. I was celebrating like a kid. As a Michigan fan, I will never forget Edwards drop on the first drive. If he catches it, Michigan has the ball at least at the 20, if not closer or a TD. Navarre hit him in stride. It was a wasted opportunity to score first and set the tone. The game was basically over after that.
