The interesting thing is that while losing WR's at nearly a guy a game KC has also been adding quality HB's at about a guy a game. Perine and Hunt are both very solid vets that can pass block and catch passes out of the backfield. The combo is more than enough to win a SB with. At WR we absolutely need to add someone to prevent the struggle Pat had last year at WR. There's no reason to believe that Hollywood or Rice will be back this year - not even for the playoffs. And I don't want to see us rush either guy only to have them re-injure themselves. That said - there's no reason KC won't get the 3peat. They've had these issues at WR before and the supporting team is much stronger this year. Lean in to the 2 and 3 TE sets, run the football, take advantage of the deep ball matchups we get with Worthy and Hardman.

Agreed- Perine and Hunt were incredible pickups, especially because they were available to anyone, and they should be good options for the offense as the season goes on. Hopefully they can help expand the passing game with the Chiefs being down their top two receivers. I also agree that the Chiefs may be able to figure it out with this cohort, though adding a receiver would be nice (given the Chiefs history it probably will be a replacement level or slightly better guy- not a splashy name). If Jared Wiley progresses through the year and can be reliable, or if Noah Gray takes another step then those multi tight end sets could get VERY interesting.
