Fields package is a distraction for the Steelers offense instead for the opponend. Loosing the Russ passing thread means more than adding Justins athleticism. We have to trust Russ clutch play and let him pass more often at first and second downs to avoid beeing predictable.

Crazy for the experts to say there is nothing to be concerned about with the offensive line. Just wild for Alan to say that.

I have noticed that BrodJ talks to Alan a lot and Alan and it is affecting his objectivity on the matter. His trajectory is not good.

Steelers Offense needs to score TD's more consistently. With Russ at the helm, they hadn't scored a TD in 7 straight quarters. They need more weapons. Fields is a multipurpose weapon. Should use Fields more often when the situation calls for mobility and to stress the defenses they are facing. I don't understand why people are clutching their pearls about this. Have people forgotten the chaos Slash / Kordell caused whenever he entered the game? Similar but not the same. Fields gives Arthur more options in clutch situations. The scheme is sound -- they do need to work on better execution.

question Alan, Schmitty WR Coach ? Your focous yesterday was his influnce on Pickens. Have you seen improvements to the other recievers? Do you think his messaging dove-tails with Auther Smiths messaging?

I would love to see Arthur Smith take NC job so we could then get a young and upcoming OC to modernize our Offense

Great conversation about Hard Knocks, always been a fan of NFL Films. Yes, Alan too bad about the 90 sec limit on video footage but honestly would you really trust your peers to act respectfully? As a guy who's worked over a decade in the film production business I know you and I could get some great footage. It's about earning trust and the team/players would trust us to only upload footage that isn't embarrassing or potentially negative. That's why I love your show; you guys have class.

They certainly should not trust me to only upload footage that isn't embarrassing or potentially negative. My job is to show them as they are, not as they want to be portrayed. -- AS

@@PghSteelersNow Love your steel city honesty big Al. Heard a story of a rookie from another team that crapped his pants at training camp and another about a player clearing the locker room before a game with bad gas. Those are the type of videos that would go viral but I would refrain from posting due to respect for the player. Can you imagine being a fringe roster player remembered that way? Much has changed with media ethics since social media. But I prefer old school journalism where in those cases no names would be supplied and of course video wasn't even an option.

My opinion the players have put the team in place to win almost every game.but at some point they have to take more risks.they won't win any of these games coming up unless they quit living in there fears.

If Arthur Smith puts the starting offense in a better position to be successful, there is no need for Fields. Fields is literally 1 redzone touchdown better than Wilson, while playing more games. All the Fields commentary is knee jerk and baseless. Arthur Smith needs to fix this.

Steelers aren't good at long yardage situations either. They just aren't a well coached team. We keep pretending that coaching isn't the issue. Head Coach, OC and DC and O Line coach all need to go.

Alan just passing out "really good player" awards to mediocre bums like Akeem Gaither, Germaine Pratt & Myles Murphy but constantly calling 99.4% of the Steelers offensive guys "not really good" 24/7 will never NOT be hilarious 😭😭😭😭😭😭 like okay Alan thanks buddy we'll go ahead and get out of your lawn
